Updated NBA Championship Odds – March 21st Edition

Written by on March 21, 2018

There are still lots of big games to wager on before the regular season comes to an end, but there can be no denying that the playoffs are now clearly visible on the horizon. With that in mind, and based on the latest NBA Championship odds, it’s really time to start talking about which teams will be in the mix to win it all. In recent years, it has become something of a coin flip between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers for the top prize, but there are a few teams who have thrown their hats into the ring this time around. We are going to take a quick look at the most recent odds to win the NBA title and suggest that now might be the time to get your wager on, as the better teams are not going to deliver much better value than they are doing right now.

Updated NBA Championship Odds – March 21st Edition

Golden State Warriors

  • NBA Championship Odds: -150
It can be argued that the Warriors are not the best team in basketball right now, but you cannot really complain about them still being the favorite. After all, they have proven time and again that they know how to take care of business once the playoffs get started. They are also the defending champion, and while they do not currently have the best record in the NBA, they are still leaps and bounds ahead of the teams chasing them. They are killing it at home and on the road, so it doesn’t really matter where they end up playing in the postseason.

Houston Rockets

  • NBA Championship Odds: +160
This may very well be the best price you get the Rockets at from this point forward, especially if they go on and win the Western Conference, which is looking increasingly likely. For a few years, the Rockets have been forced to rely a little too heavily on James Harden, and while he is putting in another MVP type season, he is surrounded by the best group of players that he has had since arriving in Houston. If anyone in the west can end the domination of the Warriors, it may very well be the Houston Rockets.

Cleveland Cavaliers

  • NBA Championship Odds: +700
It has not been the season that anyone has expected from the Cleveland Cavaliers, but it feels like we have been saying that every year since LeBron James returned to Cleveland. This is a team that always seems to be surrounded by some sort of drama every year, yet they somehow find a way to raise their game and put all that stuff behind them once the serious business of the payoffs begins. According to the latest NBA Championship Odds, the Cavs remain as one of the favorites. They will soon be getting Kevin Love back from injury, which should give him time to get back in shape and ready to help this team go on another deep postseason run.

Toronto Raptors

  • NBA Championship Odds: +800
You probably need to go all the way back to the Vince Carter era to find the last time that fans of the Toronto Raptors have been this excited about the playoff prospects of their team. The Raptors have been good all year, but especially fantastic in the second half of the season, where their strong play has catapulted them to what looks to be an unassailable lead in the Eastern Conference. They may still need to get past the Cavaliers in the postseason, but the Raptors look like a legitimate championship threat to me.

  • Oklahoma City Thunder: +2500
  • San Antonio Spurs: +3300
