Elite Eight: Miami vs Kansas Betting Analysis – March Madness Odds

We are headed towards the Final Four, and the winner of this game will be heading that way. New Orleans is waiting to see what teams will be making the trip down and who will have a chance at playing in the NCAA Championship. This matchup is the first game on Sunday at 2:20 p.m. (ET) on CBS.

The Kansas Jayhawks won the Big 12 regular-season title and the postseason tournament. They entered as a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and have knocked down everyone in their way as of late. The Jayhawks hold a record of 31-6 on the season.

Miami did not win the ACC Tournament, but they received an at large bid into the NCAA Tournament. They beat USC in the first round and followed that up with a win over Auburn, taking down two SEC teams in route to this matchup with Kansas. What a season it has been for the Hurricanes. March Madness Elite 8 Betting Analysis: #10 Miami vs #1 Kansas Preview

Kansas Jayhawks Notes

Since the back-to-back losses towards the end of the season, Kansas has not lost a game in their last eight. Defense has led the way so far for the Jayhawks, as they have forced their opponents to the worst combined shooting percentage. Not to mention all of the offensive weapons that the Jayhawks have as well.

Kansas is a program that has been around the block when it comes to March and making deep runs. It has been a while since the Jayhawks have won a National Championship, but they look more poised to do so this year than before. Can Ochai Agbaji lead the way for Kansas and send them packing to New Orleans?

On the season, Agbaji leads the team in scoring with an average of 19.3 points per game. Even though he led them in the regular season, it has been the Remy Martin show. Martin has led the Jayhawks in all three games in the NCAA Tournament.

Miami Hurricanes Notes

For the first time ever in program history, the Miami Hurricanes are headed to the Elite Eight. Many would be surprised to see a ten-seed make it this far in the NCAA Tournament, let alone there is still a higher seed out there. The Hurricanes are looking to upset the last 1 seed left in the tournament, Kansas.

What a wild ride it has been for Miami here in the last month. They survive a scare against Boston College in the ACC Tournament, barely lose to Duke, and now they are in the Elite Eight. It was not an easy road here, as the Hurricanes knocked off the USC Trojans, the 2 seed Auburn Tigers, and the Iowa State Cyclones in the Sweet 16 round.

The Hurricanes have been led by two players, Kameron McGusty and Isaiah Wong. McGusty has led the team throughout most of the season in scoring and led the Hurricanes in the win over Iowa State.

Wong led the way in the first two games for Miami with big performances. McGusty and Wong both will need a big game to help the Hurricanes get past the Jayhawks.

Kansas vs Miami Odds and Lines

What is it going to take for this magical run to continue for Miami? They will need to score points and continue to push the pace as they have done here in the first three rounds.
