Oregon At Oregon State Betting Lines, Pick & TV Info

Written by on March 3, 2017

As the regular season in college basketball draws to a close, it’s natural to start looking ahead to March Madness. Before we get to that part of the season, though, there is still the Saturday games and Conference Championship Week to consider. While the goal of every team heading to the tournament is to win it, you can bet that none of them will be looking too far ahead. Everyone wants to go into the playoffs with a positive attitude, which usually means finishing the season as strong as possible. The Oregon Ducks have been doing that over the last couple of weeks of the season, and they will have the opportunity to put an exclamation point on things when they make the short in-state trip to face the Oregon State Beavers on Saturday afternoon. The last meeting between these two was a total blowout, and the Ducks will be looking for more of the same, so that they can enter Championship Week on a real high. In Depth Analysis On The Ducks At Beavers Betting Lines, Pick & TV Info

When: Saturday, March 4 at 6 PM EST Where: Gill Coliseum, Corvallis TV: ESPN2 Live Stream: Watch ESPN NCAAB odds: TBA

Why bet on the Oregon Ducks

The Oregon Ducks (26-4, 15-2) need to be considered a legitimate threat to go all the way this year, but they will want to get things rolling by taking the Pac-12. They will land on top of the regular season standings with a win over their rivals, which is essentially a shoe-in if the last meeting between these two is anything to go by. The Ducks won that one going away, taking a rather easy 85-43 victory over the Beavers. Oregon have been a little susceptible on the road, taking 3 of their 4 losses this season away from home, but they really should be too much for the Beavers in this one.

Why bet on the Oregon State Beavers

The Oregon State Beavers (5-25, 1-16) have been a bit of a disaster this season, but this is still a team that shouldn’t be take too lightly. That was a mistake that Utah made recently, as they somehow managed to lose 68-67 to a Beavers team that has registered only 1 win in conference play. That victory probably served as a little warning for the other teams in the Pac-12, and I just don’t see the Ducks making the same mistake as the Utes did. At 5-10, the Beavers have the worst home record in the conference, so don’t look for any sort of home court advantage here. They are 6-7 ATS in their own building, so if they are going to get any joy out of this one, it would most likely be by covering the spread.

Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction

This should serve as nothing more than an upbeat training session for the Ducks, as they really should have no problem coming away with a win in this game, probably well into the double digits.
