NCAA Basketball Parlay Picks for Week 15

Northern Iowa Panthers vs Illinois State Redbirds

Our first matchup is in the mid-major realm from the Missouri Valley Conference. The Missouri Valley is a tight group this year with many of the top teams close in the standings. This matchup includes the second-place Northern Iowa Panthers and the Illinois State Redbirds.

Northern Iowa is coming off a tough loss to Loyola-Chicago this last Sunday. The battle between the two was for first place in the conference, and now the Panthers have to look at their next opponent in Illinois State. The Panthers are led by junior AJ Green, who averages 18.3 points per game.

Illinois State is coming off a wild weekend where they lost a tough game on the road Saturday at Indiana State. The Redbirds athletic department then followed that up on Sunday by announcing they will be parting ways with current head coach Dan Muller after the season. As of today, Muller has stepped down as coach of the ISU program.

Antonio Reeves has been a star this season for Illinois State, averaging 19.9 points per game.

After all the coaching changes and debacles, this is a game that Northern Iowa can win. There are a lot of emotional things going on with ISU currently and after the disappointing performance on Sunday, Northern Iowa will be hungry for a win.

Bradley Braves vs Southern Illinois Salukis

Arguably one of the hottest teams in college basketball hits the road when they meet the Salukis of Southern Illinois. The Bradley Braves have won three in a row and seven of their last eight games. This will be a great contest on the road between Bradley and Southern Illinois.

Bradley is starting to play their best basketball, very typical of a Brian Wardle team towards the end of the season. The Braves have four games left in the season and two are rough games in very tough environments. Terry Roberts has been incredible for Coach Wardle and the team this season, averaging 15.1 points per game.

Southern Illinois is having a very average season, currently sitting a 13-13 on the year. The Salukis have won three of their last five games, trying to make a last minute run heading to the conference tournament. The Salukis are led by Lance Jones, who averages 14.5 points per game.

The oddsmakers are expecting this game to be close, that it is currently a pick’em. There is no spread because it is even between the two teams. If you like the Braves, take them. If you like the Salukis at home, take them. If you’re not sure, well then just flip a coin.

We like Bradley in this game to win.

Kentucky Wildcats vs Tennessee Volunteers

This matchup features two Top-25 teams and a very meaningful game in the SEC standings. The Kentucky Wildcats will be faced with a very tough environment on the road at Tennessee. The Wildcats won the first meeting this season by 28 points, 107-79.

A lot of the talk this season has been around TyTy Washington Jr., the freshman guard who has been phenomenal for Kentucky. As of late, a lot of the talk is centered around the big man, Oscar Tshiebwe. Tshiebwe leads Kentucky in both points per game and rebounds per game on the season with 16.4 and 15.3 respectively.

For Tennessee, they are looking to avenge their terrible loss earlier this season to the Wildcats. The Volunteers come in at #19 this week in the AP Poll and have won four of their last five games. Santiago Vescovi leads Tennessee in scoring this season, averaging 13.6 points per game.

Tennessee is the one-point favorite at home over Kentucky. The Wildcats should be expecting a loud and boisterous crowd tonight with the matchup they have. We like Kentucky in this matchup on the road due to their size.
