Men’s College Basketball Weekend Parlay Games to Bet On (Feb. 26th – 27th)

Purdue Boilermakers vs Michigan State Spartans

This will be an interesting matchup on Saturday at noon (ET), with the Purdue Boilermakers going on the road to East Lansing to take on the Michigan State Spartans. Purdue is looking to secure a #1 seed in the Big Ten and the NCAA Tournament. Michigan State is trying not to fall down the seeding slate and fall into a bad matchup for postseason play.

If Purdue can close out the regular season as the Big Ten Champions, they will more than likely be a #1 seed heading to the NCAA Tournament. Even with a loss in the semifinals or the championship game, they have a great resume to put them amongst the best teams in the NCAA. Jaden Ivey has taken over the scoring for the Boilermakers, as he averages 17.3 points per game, including a 25 point performance against Rutgers.

Michigan State is starting to falter at the worst point in the season. With only four games left on the schedule currently, the Spartans have three very tough tests ahead of them with Purdue, Michigan, and Ohio State. Scoring has been an issue for the Spartans lately, as Gabe Brown still leads the way averaging 11.4 points per game.

This is a game that we like Purdue in. We are guessing the spread will be somewhere around five to six points, and that is going to allow Purdue to win and cover this weekend in East Lansing.

Kentucky Wildcats vs Arkansas Razorbacks

Come Saturday at 2 p.m. (ET), this will be a must-watch game between two of the hottest teams in the SEC. The Kentucky Wildcats come in on a two-game winning streak and have won four of their last five games. Arkansas comes in on a three-game winning streak with four wins in their last five games as well.

Kentucky is coming off a big win against LSU where they did not have their best game. Oscar Tshiebwe is a force to be reckoned with for the Wildcats. Tshiebwe will be in consideration for player of the year awards with his averages of 16.4 points and 15.3 rebounds. He helps the Kentucky points per game average with 80.6.

Arkansas is one of the hottest teams in college basketball and they have racked up a few great wins in their last five games. An upset of Auburn, a win over Tennessee and now Florida as well, the Razorbacks are playing their best basketball at the end of the season. JD Notae has been phenomenal for Arkansas this season, averaging 18.7 points per game.

This is a game that we like Arkansas in. With this game being played at home for the Razorbacks, they have already beaten Auburn at home and they can have another upset this weekend with the Wildcats coming to town.

Illinois Fighting Illini vs Michigan Wolverines

This will be the second of the five-game suspension for Michigan coach Juwan Howard. In this matchup against Illinois, the rivalry between these two teams has been heated throughout the years, as much of the same is to be expected. This game tips off at 2 p.m. (ET) on Sunday.

Illinois is trying to fight back in the standings late in the regular season. It has not been pretty for the Illini lately, but they have won three of their last five games. Kofi Cockburn continues to lead the way for the Illini with an average of 21.7 points and 11.2 rebounds.

Michigan is trying to sneak into the NCAA Tournament and could be one of the last four teams in. Without coach Howard for the rest of the regular season, the Wolverines are trying to stay afloat heading towards the Big Ten Championship. Hunter Dickinson leads the Wolverines with an average of 18 points and 8.2 rebounds.

Illinois is the team to bet on in this game. Without Howard and how streaky Michigan has been this season, Illinois is the more sure-handed team in this matchup.
