Here’s A Closer Look At The Top College Football Trio Of Week 7 Parlay Expert Picks

Tulsa at Houston

When: Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 7:00 PM ET
NCAAF Odds: Houston -20.5

Analysis:
Tulsa has won three straight, including their narrow 43-40 win over lowly SMU last weekend while Houston suffered its first loss of the season by falling to Navy 46-40 in a complete stunner. While the Cougars were one of my preseason picks to reach the four-team CFB Playoff and have the better team in this Week 7 showdown, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane are the easy pick to cover the insanely high point spread in this Week 7 matchup.

Tulsa is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 road games and 4-2 ATS in their last six matchups against Houston. The Cougars are my pick to get the straight-up (SU) win in this contest, but it won’t come by three touchdowns against a Tulsa team that averages an impressive 39.4 points per game despite allowing a whopping 32.0 points per game defensively.

Tulsa has been outscored by an average margin of just over three points per game over their last 10 meetings against the Cougars and that just tells me this Week 7 clash will be a lot closer than the point spread indicates.

Pick: Tulsa +20.5 Points

Wake Forest at Florida State

When: Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 3:30 PM ET
NCAAF Odds: Florida State -22.5

Analysis:
Wake Forest may be 5-1 while Florida State is 3-2, but if you look at the Demon Deacons’ contests this season, you’ll notice that they’ve chosen to beat up on a string of mediocre opponents while Florida State has played four consecutive tough opponents following their cupcake of an opener.

With that said, it is Florida State that I expect to win this Week 7 ACC matchup going away to cover the high point spread. Not only are the Noles 8-4 ATS in their last dozen games, but Jimbo Fisher’s squad has also won six of its last seven meetings against Wake Forest while going 5-2 ATS over the last seven meetings.

I know Florida State has been absolutely abysmal in giving up 32.6 points per game defensively this season, but Wake Forest is offensively-challenged and their defense isn’t nearly as good as their over-inflated statistics suggest. I’m not real fond of the high point spread, but I like Florida State to get the three-touchdown win to cover.

Pick: Florida State -22.5

Iowa State at Texas

When: Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 7:00 PM ET
NCAAF Odds: Texas -13.5

Analysis:
Iowa State was on the wrong end of a 38-31 loss against Oklahoma State the last time out to fall to 1-5, but Texas is coming off a crushing 45-40 loss against Oklahoma in Week 6 that dropped them to 2-3. For me, Iowa State is the lock pick to get the easy ATS win against Texas seeing as how they’ve played a lot better than the Horns the last three weeks. Not only that, but Iowa State beat Texas 24-0 last season at home following a three-point loss in 2014 and a 1-point loss in 2013.

The Horns might have the big edge offensively as they average almost 15 points per game more than the Cyclones, but Texas also gives up six points per game more than Iowa State defensively and will take on a Cyclones team that has covered the spread in four straight games.

The best measure for how this game will likely play out is the fact that Iowa State just lost to Oklahoma State by a touchdown while Texas got pounded by the Cowboys by 18 points two weeks ago. Even on the road, the Cyclones cover the college football betting line with room to spare.

Pick:
Iowa State +13.5
