Now, let’s find out which teams are offering the best value in their respective matchups.

Houston Texans vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Texans moved into sole possession of first place in the AFC South by beating Tennessee in a thriller on Sunday, but  Tampa Bay has won four straight while putting 28 points or more on the board in each contest. I love the way Bruce Arians has the Bucs playing hard to close out the regular season, leading me to believe an upset could be in the work here!

Pick: Tampa Bay +1.5

Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots

The Patriots snapped a two-game skid by routing Cincinnati on Sunday, but Buffalo has won four of five including a hard-fought 17-10 win over Pittsburgh on Sunday night. Point blank, I like the Bills to cover the 6.5-point spread in this matchup because of New England’s offensive struggles combined with their powerful defense.

Pick: Buffalo +6.5

Los Angles Rams vs San Francisco 49ers

The Rams got blown out of the water in their embarrassing 44-21 loss against mediocre Dallas. While San Francisco suffered a heartbreaking 29-22 home loss against Atlanta to fall to 1-2 over their last three, I still like the Niners in this huge NFC West divisional matchup as they seek to get back in first place in the NFC playoff race.

Pick: San Francisco -6.5

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Atlanta Falcons

  • When: 1:00 PM ET
  • TV: FOX
  • NFL Week 16 Odds: Atlanta -7

Jacksonville snapped a five-game skid by upsetting Oakland on Sunday to damage the Raiders’ already faint playoff hopes, but Atlanta has won two straight, including their impressive upset of San Francisco on Sunday. The difference in this matchup of teams that won’t reach the playoffs is the fact that the Falcons can put points on the board while Jacksonville’s offense is mediocre at best.

Pick: Atlanta -7

Cincinnati Bengals vs Miami Dolphins

  • When: 1:00 PM ET
  • TV: CBS
  • NFL Week 16 Odds: Miami -1

While I won’t actually watch this game for fear of going blind, the Dolphins are the pick to get the win here, simply because Cincinnati needs to lose out in order to assure they don’t somehow mess up landing the sure-fire first overall pick in next year’s NFL Draft.

Pick: Miami -1

New Orleans Saints vs. Tennessee Titans

After hosting (and beating) Indianapolis on Monday night, I’m expecting Drew Brees and company to do likewise against Tennessee had their three-game winning streak snapped in their hard-fought 24-21 loss against Houston on Sunday. While the Titans have clearly been an improved team after naming Ryan Tannehill their starting quarterback, New Orleans has too much to play for in this Week 16 matchup to lose. Drew Brees and the Super Bowl-hopeful Saints get it done in this one!

Pick: New Orleans -1

Carolina Panthers vs Indianapolis Colts

Indianapolis has lost three straight to see their postseason hopes nearly extinguished, but the Panthers are reeling, having dropped six straight. Take the lesser of two evils in this one. Jacoby Brissett and the Colts take care of business at home in this one.

Pick: Indianapolis -6.5

Pittsburgh vs NY Jets

Pittsburgh was on the wrong end of a crushing 17-10 loss against Buffalo on Sunday night, but the Steelers are the super easy pick to win and cash in against a Jets team that got embarrassed in their 42-21 loss to Baltimore the last time out.

Pick: Pittsburgh -3

NY Giants vs Washington Redskins

The Giants got a great, feel-good win over Miami with Eli Manning almost assuredly making the last home start of his storied career in the Big Apple. However, Washington has looked a lot better the last four weeks and even though the Skins have lost two straight, they are the pick to take care of business at home behind the legendary Adrian Peterson.

Pick: Washington -2.5

Baltimore Ravens vs Cleveland Browns

Baker Mayfield and the Browns got humbled in their convincing 38-24 loss against Arizona on Sunday while Baltimore ran roughshod over the Jets to improve to 10-0 over their last 10 games. Um…maybe it’s me, but I suspect the Ravens could have this one well in hand by halftime.

Pick: Baltimore -7

Oakland Raiders vs Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers have lost four of five and got routed by Minnesota 39-10 on Sunday. Still, I like the Bolts to hold it down at home against a reeling Raiders team that has gone belly up by dropping four straight while scoring 21 points or less in each contest.

Detroit Lions vs Denver Broncos

  • When: 4:05 PM ET
  • TV: CBS
  • NFL Week 16 Odds: Denver -6.5

Denver got man-handled in their humbling 23-3 road loss at Kansas City, but the Broncos are the super easy pick to get past a reeling Detroit squad that has lost a whopping seven straight games heading into Week 16.

Pick: Denver -6.5

Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia 76ers

  • When: 4:25 PM ET
  • TV: FOX
  • NFL Week 16 Odds: Dallas -1

I know Dallas rolled all over the unsuspecting Rams 44-21 this past weekend, but Philadelphia is playing at home in this huge NFC East divisional rivalry with a shot to lay claim to the division title. I don’t trust either one of these teams, but the Birds have plenty of incentive to get it done and the 1-point spread means all they have to do is win outright.

Pick: Philadelphia +1

Arizona Cardinals vs Seattle Seahawks

  • When: 4:25 PM ET
  • TV: FOX
  • NFL Week 16 Odds: Seattle -10

Clearly, the Cardinals got it right by drafting quarterback Kyler Murray first overall this year. Still, Russell Wilson and the Seahawks are the pick to take care of business after moving into first place in the NFC playoff race this past weekend.

Pick: Seattle -10

Kansas City Chiefs vs Chicago Bears

I have absolutely no faith whatsoever in Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky. Kansas City wins this big Week 16 matchup despite being on the road, mostly because the Chiefs can put points on the board in their collective sleep.

Pick: Kansas City -4

Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings

The Packers managed to get by Chicago this past weekend, but the Bears are seriously offensively-challenged. Minnesota’s stout defense, combined with the facts that the Vikes are playing at home and have a shot to steal the NFC North division crown, means Minnesota holds it down at home in this NFC North clash.

Pick: Minnesota -4.5
