Handicapping NFL’s Projected Win Totals Odds

Written by on June 23, 2016

It’s time for some easy NFL futures bet predictions! If you’re gearing up for the start of the 2016 NFL regular season and you’re looking to cash in on some valuable season-long futures props, then you’re going to love the handful of ‘easy’ 2016 NFL betting odds win total picks that you’re about to get! Okay, with that said, let’s get started.

Previewing NFL’s Projected Win Totals Odds

Arizona Cardinals (9.5)

The Cardinals are now a perennial double-digit win franchise under the leadership of Bruce Arians, Carson Palmer and an aggressive defense and are an easy pick to reach 10 wins in 2016 if  you ask me! The Pick: Over 9.5 Wins

Minnesota Vikings – (9.0)

The Minnesota Vikings took another step forward last season under head coach Mike Zimmer by winning 11 games to bag the NFC North division title and they look like a virtual lock to reach the 10-win mark in 2016 after addressing their most pressing needs this offseason by adding gifted wideout Laquon Treadwell and cornerback Mackensie Alexander. Teddy Bridgewater and the rest of the blossoming Vikings will win at least 10 games in 2016! The Pick: Over 9 Wins

Kansas City Chiefs (9.0)

Just like he did in Philadelphia, head coach Andy Reid has built a perennial winner in Kansas City! After winning 11 games last season, I think the Chiefs are a lock to record double digit victories again in 2016. Veteran running back Jamal Charles returns after missing virtually the entire 2015 campaign. Veteran quarterback Alex Smith has apparently gotten better under Reid and the Chiefs are very good defensively. With the Denver Broncos likely taking a sizeable step backwards this season, not only will the Chiefs win 10 games, but I like them to bag the AFC West division title as well! The Pick: Over 9 Wins

Houston Texans (8.0)

Head coach Bill O’Brien has led Houston to consecutive nine-win campaigns without any competent play from the quarterback position. Now that the Texans have added veteran Brock Osweiler, I have no doubt that Houston will reach the double-digit win mark in 2016. I’ve got the Texans losing six games in 2016 to finish wit 10 wins and play well over their 8-win Over/Under total. The Pick: Over 9 Wins

Indianapolis Colts (8.5)

Despite their struggles a year ago, I believe the Indianapolis Colts may be the most sure-fire pick in all of football as far as their 2016 win total odds are concerned. Franchise quarterback Andrew Luck will be back under center again after missing major stretches of the 2015 campaign and there aren’t the pressures for success that hovered around the franchise as they did prior to last season. I like the Colts to record 10 wins in 2016, based mostly on the fact that they’ll have an elite quarterback leading them this coming season. The Pick: Over 8.5 Wins

Cleveland Browns (4.5)

The Cleveland Browns (3-13) made a great hire by nabbing widely-respected offensive coordinator Hue Jackson and I believe he will both, restore the former glory to enigmatic quarterback Robert Griffin III and lead the Browns to at least a half-dozen wins. Cleveland made some nice offseason acquisitions to upgrade their roster from a year ago, but more importantly, Jackson is changing the culture to that of a winning franchise in Cleveland. My final NFL futures bet pick say to bet Cleveland to play over their 2016 win total odds. The Pick: Over 4.5 Wins
