A Closer Look At The Highlight Pair Of Top NFL Over/Under Week 9 Picks

Tennessee at San Diego

When: Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 4:25 PM ET Where: Qualcomm Stadium TV: CBS Total: 48 Analysis: The San Diego Chargers are ranked third in scoring (28.1 ppg), thanks mostly to the fantastic passing of veteran Philip Rivers and the blossoming rushing of second-year back Melvin Gordon. Unfortunately, the Bolts are also ranked 24th in points allowed (26.5 ppg) and have had to rely on their offense to win the three games that they have so far. The Tennessee Titans are averaging – and allowing just over 22.0 points per game but have scored at least 26 points in four straight games while topping the 30-point plateau in two of those contests. The Over is a near-perfect 9-1 in these two teams’ last 10 combined contests, making this Week 9 matchup a virtual lock to play Over the 48-point total. Pick: Over 48 Total Points

Indianapolis at Green Bay

When: Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 4:25 PM ET Where: Lambeau Field TV: CBS Total: 54 Analysis: Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts are putting up a solid 26.0 points per game to rank an encouraging ninth in scoring. Unfortunately, the inconsistent Colts are also allowing a whopping 28.7 points per game defensively to rank 28th in points allowed. Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are averaging 24.5 points per game to rank  respectable 11th in scoring, but are allowing 22.2 points per game defensively to rank 15th in points allowed. The Total has gone Over in four of Indy’s last five games, not to mention the fact that these two inter-conference rivals have combined to score at least 57 points in three of the last four meetings. With both teams being able to score the ball consistently – while simultaneously allowing their opponents to put up their fair share of points, I think the Over is a virtual lock for total bettors. Pick: Over 54 Total Points
