No matter how the Raiders do this coming season, there are several ‘must-bet’ matchups on the Raiders schedule that all NFL betting gridiron gaming enthusiasts need to know about – and likely wager on. Here are six such matchups.
Here’s A Closer Look At The Las Vegas Raiders 2017 NFL Betting Guide And Winning Predictions
Week 1Raiders (-1) at Titans
Analysis: While Las Vegas went 12-4 last season, the Tennessee Titans went 9-7 and likely would have reached the postseason had not quarterback Marcus Mariota gotten injured in Week 15, just like Las Vegas’s Derek Carr did. While I like the Raiders a bit more than the Titans heading into the new season, I’m also of the mindset that Mariota and company will bag the win in their home and regular season opener in a shootout!
Pick: Titans 34 Raiders 31
Week 6Chargers at Raiders (-8)
Analysis: The Raiders swept the Chargers last season by recording a pair of three-point wins, but I don;t see that happening in 2017 as L.A. holds it down at home. Still, I’ve got Carr and company getting the home win in this Week 6 AFC West divisional showdown, though it’s not coming by nine points or more. The Raiders win, but the Bolts cover the NFL betting spread.
Pick: Raiders 31 Chargers 28
Week 7Chiefs at Raiders (-3)
Analysis: The Raiders were swept by the Chiefs in 2016 while losing 26-10 at home and 21-13 in Kansas City. No sweep is happening this season as I fully expect Carr and the Raiders to get the hard-fought home win in this Week 7 divisional battle.
Pick: Raiders 27 Chiefs 21

Week 11Patriots (-1.5) at Raiders in Mexico City
Analysis: Carr and company will put their fair share of points on the board, but just not as much as Tom Brady and the defending Super Bowl champion Patriots! The Raiders fall in Mexico City, but it’ll be interesting at the very least!
Pick: patriots 31 Raiders 28
Week 12Broncos at Raiders (-3)
Analysis: Las Vegas beat Denver 30-20 at home while losing 24-6 in their regular season finale, although it should be noted that they played without Derek Carr. Although I expect another knock-down, drag-out thriller, I like the Raiders to beat the Broncos at home for the second straight season.
Pick: Las Vegas 27 Denver 23
Week 15Cowboys at Raiders (PK)
Analysis: This matchup will be one of the most intriguing on Oakland’s entire 2017 schedule. The Cowboys have a pair of gifted young stars in quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott, but the Raiders have their own handful of stars in Carr, wide receiver Amari Cooper and linebacker Khalil Mack. Oakland gets the home win in a thriller that looks like it could be one of the most entertaining games on the entire 2017 docket.
Pick: Oakland 35 Dallas 31
