Graham wants to play through his broken thumb, but to do so he will need to be able to block and catch. McCarthy said Graham has an “attachment” for his cast he will test out to see if he can do those things. WR Jake Kumerow returned to practice on Wednesday. Kumerow was placed on I.R. with a shoulder injury prior to Week 1. A preseason standout this summer, Kumerow could be activated for Sunday’s game in Minnesota.

Thielen’s 1,013 receiving yards rank fourth in the NFL, and his seven receiving touchdowns are tied for seventh. Thielen and Diggs, who ranks sixth in the NFL with 71 receptions, are the only WR duo in the NFL to rank in the top 10 in catches this season. The 198 receptions and 17 receiving touchdowns by Vikings receivers lead all NFL position groups.
Vikings LB Anthony Barr (hamstring) expects to return for Week 12. The starting linebacker has missed the past three games. Despite missing multiple starters through the first 10 games, the Vikings defense has allowed 320.8 yards per game, the fifth-lowest average in the NFL. Vikings DE Danielle Hunter, who is second in the NFL with 11.5 sacks, set a new single-game career high with 3.5 sacks vs. Detroit in Week 9, powering the defense to a team record 10 sacks against the Lions.
The Vikings have allowed only four runs of 15 or more yards in 2018, the fewest in the NFL. The Vikings defense has held opponents to a third-down conversion rate of 28.3 percent, the best in the NFL.
