Adrian Peterson rushed 19 times for 51 yards and caught 2-of-3 targets for 20 yards. The Redskins’ winning drive — Peterson gained all 38 yards — was set up by an overthrown Cody Kessler pass that was tipped by receiver Dede Westbrook and intercepted by corner Fabian Moreau.

A here win would be the Redskins’ third consecutive victory in their series with the Titans, which would represent the longest winning streak by either team in the series. The Redskins have won each of their last two games against the Titans on walk-off field goals. The Redskins earned a 19-16 victory in Tennessee on a 48-yard overtime field goal on Nov. 21, 2010, and also recorded a 19-17 win at FedExField on a 22-yard field goal with no time remaining in regulation on Oct. 19, 2014.

The Redskins are 26-24 all-time in Saturday contests, including postseason play. The Titans rushed for 215 yards at New York after rushing for 264 yards the previous week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It marked the team’s first time to rush for 200 or more yards in back-to-back contests since 2008, when they totaled 292 rushing yards at the Detroit Lions (Nov. 27) and 235 rushing yards against the Cleveland Browns (Dec. 7).
