Why Bet On The Seattle Seahawks?
Why should you bet on the Seattle Seahawks? The best reason to bet on Seattle is that they’ve got a pretty solid backup quarterback and a head coach that loves to win in the preseason. While the Seahawks suffered a narrow 19-17 loss to Indianapolis in their preseason opener last week, veteran signal-caller Austin Davis is solid for a backup. He went 4 of 5 last week with no touchdowns and one interception while third-string signal-caller Alex McGough completed 10 of 13 passes for 48 yards. Running back Chris Carson led the Seahawks with 26 rushing yards on four attempts while tight end Nick Vannett caught two passes for 20 yards and one score. Starting quarterback Russell Wilson played one series for Seattle. Wilson was 4 of 5 for 43 yards and capped his only drive with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Vannett. Seattle rookie linebacker Shaquem Griffin played like a man possessed in making a team-high nine tackles. “It felt good to kind of get out there and get your feet wet and kind of get some hits in,” Griffin said. “I know the way the league works you don’t really get a chance to really tackle too much so to kind of get out there and get a few tackles in.”Why Bet On The Los Angeles Chargers?

With rivers sitting out last week’s 24-17 preseason-opening loss against Arizona, veteran Geno Smith completed 14 of 23 passes for 218 yards with one touchdown and one interception while fellow backup Cardale Jones completed 6 of 12 passes for 50 yards. Roster hopeful Nick Shimonek completed 8 of 14 passes for 39 yards. Wide receiver Geremy Davis caught four passes for 88 yards and one score.
“At some point, I want to know what we have in Cardale Jones,” coach Anthony Lynn said. “He came into this league and he’s never really been given a legitimate opportunity, in my opinion. I want to give him that opportunity.”
