When: Sunday, January 1 at 1:00 PM ET Where: Lincoln Financial Field Total: 43.5 Analysis: The Birds and Boys may allow a combined average of just 39.8 points per game, but they also average 49.8 points per game offensively. Each of the last two meetings between these NFC East division rivals and four of the last six overall, has played over the current 43.5-point total. Dallas Cowboys has played over this figure in each of their last two games while the over is 4-1 in Philly’s last five games. Pick: Over 43.5 Total Points

New England at Miami

When: Sunday, January 1 at 1:00 PM ET Where: Hard Rock Stadium Total: 44.5 Analysis: While Miami and New England combine to give up just 38.7 points per game defensively, they also put up a combined 50.2 points per game offensively. More importantly, Miami has put 34 points on the board in two straight games while scoring at least 26 points in four of their last five games. New England has also scored 26 or more in three straight and hung 41 points on the lowly Jets last weekend. I also know the pair combined to score a whopping 77 points earlier this season, but I’m thinking the two will play under 56 combined points like they did in their previous three meetings and six of their previous seven meetings overall.
