Two years ago in the playoffs the Chiefs and the Colts resulted in a huge shootout, where the game ended at 45-44. In addition, during the Chiefs 10 game win streak, they scored above 29 points on their own in 6 games. It’s hard to see this one not going OVER 40 points.

This game total comes in at 40 points as well and has similar circumstances when compared to the Chiefs and Texans game. Seattle’s defense isn’t what it was last year. They’ve been fairly pedestrian in some games. The Seahawks have transformed from a defensive juggernaut to an offensive one in the past few games, with Russell Wilson setting records left and right. In their game against the Vikings a few weeks ago, the Seahawks won 38-7. Unless the pace of this game slows to a crawl, the total in this game should end up OVER 40 points. The Seahawks will likely bottle up Adrian Peterson with their top rush defense, causing Bridgewater to pass. As long as he can convert on a few long passes (easier said than done), the over should hit.

The most intriguing matchup of the weekend, in most bettor eyes. Most people see Green Bay games and shout “over!” and that’s that. Here’s an interesting fact though: the UNDER is 10-3 in the last 13 games Green Bay has played. Their defense has been amazing this season, and the offense is very different from past years. Don’t expect Aaron Rodgers to come out gunning and suddenly score 35 points on the Redskins. Right now the total is 45 points, and I don’t believe that it will hit. Last year, sure, but this year both teams are different, and personally I think this one will be lower scoring than Seattle vs Minnesota, and KC vs Houston.
I didn’t take a look at the Pittsburgh vs Cincinnati game because these three games have more favorable matchups for bettors.
