NHL Top Parlay Picks Of The Week (Dec. 5 – Dec. 8)

Written by on December 5, 2016

I don’t know how you guys feel, but for me, the month of December is when it finally starts to feel like hockey season. I understand that we have had a couple of months of great NHL action already, but the first quarter of the season is usually just taken up by teams trying to build an identity and get into a groove. There are tight races going on in all 4 divisions now, but the next month or so is when we usually start to see some separation. It’s also when we hope to fill our bankroll with some extra money for the upcoming holiday season and beyond. Let’s see if we can start that this week with some NHL parlay picks.

In Depth Analysis On The NHL Top Parlay Picks Of The Week (Dec. 5th – Dec. 8th)

NHL Parlay Picks Monday December 5 – Capitals, Blue Jackets

The Capitals came into this season as one of the favorites to go all the way to the Stanley Cup, but they have underwhelmed a little so far. They are on a 3-game losing skid right now, but I like them to snap out of that on home ice with a win over the Buffalo Sabres. The Columbus Blue Jackets may have gotten off to a slow start this year, but they are firing on all cylinders now, and are 7-1-2 in their last 10. This is a team that can score at will, and they should be able to light the lamp early and often against a very poor Arizona Coyotes team.

NHL Parlay Picks Tuesday December 6 – Rangers, Flyers

The New York Rangers have surged to the top of the Metropolitan Division, and have done so by scoring goals with stunning regularity. They have a date with their big rivals, the New York Islanders, on Tuesday, and it’s one that they should win handily. The hottest team in the NHL right now are the Philadelphia Flyers, as they come into this week on a 5-game winning streak. They will welcome in the Florida Panthers this week, a team that is slipping after seeing their coach get fired a couple of weeks back.

NHL Parlay Picks Wednesday December 7 – Ducks, Sharks

The Ducks saw last week come to a disastrous end with an 8-3 loss to the Calgary Flames, but they head back home this week, and have what looks like a straightforward game against a Carolina Hurricanes team that is already 4 games below .500 on the road this season. Let’s make it a California double on Wednesday night by taking the San Jose Sharks to take out the Ottawa Senators. Both teams are going well at the moment, but I think the Sharks have an edge at home, where they are 9-3-0 this season.

NHL Parlay Picks Thursday December 8 – Canadiens, Lightning

The Montreal Canadiens are off to another fast start this season, which is exactly what happened last year, too. Things didn’t go so well then, but let’s remember that an injury to Carey Price started that skid. Montreal are 12-1-1 at home this season, and should improve that record by beating the New Jersey Devils. The Tampa Bay Lightning are one of the top scoring teams in the NHL, and later this week they will host a Vancouver Canucks team that is among the leakiest on defense. Seems like an open and shut case here.
