Top Weekend Free Picks For English Premier League

Written by on September 15, 2016

Week 5 of the English Premier League is almost upon us, and it will feature another Friday game this week, which is a move that is not really a huge hit with the fans just yet. It’s still very early in the season, but it looks as though normal service has been restored. Champions Leicester have struggled early on, while the traditional big guns have come out and put their stamp on the top of the league. Let’s take a closer look at some of the upcoming games this weekend, and let’s see if we can find a few winners along the way these betting odds.

Analyzing The Top Weekend Free Picks for English Premier League

Chelsea Vs Liverpool – Friday

If you are going to have football on a Friday night, you might as well make it a game worth watching. Chelsea are in second place with 10 points after snatching a late equalizer at Swansea last week. It is Diego Costa who is doing the lion’s share of the scoring for Chelsea this season, which means Liverpool are going to have to find a way to shut him down. Liverpool are on 7 points, and it’s really tough to figure out what they are going to be this season. The one thing we do get with their games is goals, so look for the over 2.5 in this one as Chelsea go on for a 2-1 win.

Leicester Vs Burnley – Saturday

The champions have only managed 4 points from their opening 4 games this season, and it’s blatantly obvious that they ae missing N’Kolo Kante in the midfield. They look to have a bit of an easier task this weekend against newly promoted Burnley, and they are sure to be riding on a bit of a high after picking up a 3-0 win against Club Brugge midweek in their first foray into the Champions League. That win may end up serving as the catalyst for a positive run. I have Leicester winning by a couple of goals here.

Everton Vs Middlesbrough – Saturday

After a disappointing season last year, Everton have bounced back nicely under new boss Ronald Koeman. They have very quietly picked up 10 points from their first 4 games of the season, thanks in large part to a defense that has only given up 2 goals so far. That record is all the more astonishing when you consider that they lost full-back John Stones to Manchester City in the offseason. Middlesbrough have been finding goals hard to come by in the EPL, and they should into another wall at Goodison Park on Saturday. Taking Everton to win this one.

Watford Vs Manchester United – Sunday

Manchester United fell to their first defeat of the season last week, going down 2-1 to their cross city rivals Manchester City. It is a loss that is certainly not going to sit well with anyone associated with the club, and you can bet that they will be looking to make amends quickly. They might just be able to do that against a Watford side that has already given up 8 goals this season. Look for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to add to his tally as united cruise to a comfortable win.
