2018 ATP Betting Special Props & Odds – January 15th Edition

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal Grand Slam Specials

Number of Grand Slam Wins

  • None: 6/1
  • One Win: 2/1
  • Two wins: 13/8
  • Three wins: 7/2
  • All Four: 16/1
Okay, so the incomparable Federer and Nadal somehow, some way, manage to claim all four grand slam titles a year ago despite global reports and predictions that claimed complete and total demise of the pair of now, legends. Federer started the 2017 campaign off by winning his fifth Australian Open title, before sitting out the French Open as part of his ingenious method of rejuvenating his aging body, before eventually going on to claim his record, eighth title at Wimbledon in June. In between, Nadal won his record 10th French Open title and ended the year’s four majors by winning his third U.S. Open title. In 2018, I’m predicting Fed to win the Aussie and Nadal to win another French Open (duh). I’m also going to pick Federer to win Wimbledon again this year, but someone else to win the U.S. Open to finish off the year. For me, three is the magic number! Pick: Three

Federer and Nadal to Meet in 2018 Australian Open Final: 9/2

Nope, not gonna’ happen. Rafa’s knees are already hurting him, so, no, I don’t see him reaching the finals this year.

Federer to win 2018 Australian Open: 12/1

He’s the defending champions and top contender, so there are some good vibes around him, which is why he’s my pick.

Federer to Win Australian Open, Wimbledon and U.S. Open in 2018 50/1

For Wimbledon and the U.S. Open other players like Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Juan Martin del Potro should be in a good shape and rhythm, so Roger will have more and better competition to win his favorites major tournaments. Let’s give him Wimbledon.

Rafael Nadal 2018 Grand Slam Special

Number of Grand Slam Wins in 2018

  • None: 2/1
  • One win: 11/10
  • Two wins: 10/3
  • Three wins: 14/1
  • All Four: 50/1
Give me one! Rafa wins the French, but I’m going to say that’s all he gets this coming season, no matter what the future ATP Betting odds may say, mostly because every other major is on a hard court and his knees are as bulky as ever, not to mention there are a ton of ‘young guns’ like Sascha Zverev, Nick Krygios, Grigor Dimitrov (he’s still semi-young) that are really on the rise!

ATP Betting Odds to Win a Grand Slam

  • Yes: 2/5
  • No: 2/1
Of course, Rafa is the pick to win the French Open. You’d have to be a fool to not know that! Pick: One

Novak Djokovic 2018 Grand Slam Special

Number of Grand Slam Wins in 2018

  • None: 1/1
  • One win: 11/8
  • Two wins: 4/1
  • Three wins: 20/1
  • All Four: 66/1

ATP Betting Odds To Win a Grand Slam

  • Yes: 8/11
  • No: 1/1
Right now, I’m still trying to figure out what is wrong with the Djoker! He says his wrist is still bothering him, but I’m thinking it’s more of a combination of that wrist, plus some head issues. Nole should become one of the ATP Betting favorites for the second part of the 2018 season. Until I see otherwise and based on last year, I’m going with no slam for him in 2018 believe it or not! Pick: None

Andy Murray 2018 Grand Slam Special

Number of Grand Slam Wins in 2018

  • None: 4/6
  • One win: 13/8
  • Two wins: 8/1
  • Three wins: 25/1
  • All Four: 200/1

ATP Betting Odds to Win a Grand Slam

  • Yes: 11/10
  • No: 4/6
I’m going to answer the question all in one shot for both of the aforementioned odds. Hell no, Andy Murray isn’t winning a slam this year. he’s pretty much shot until the summer, meaning he’s only going to have two chances at Wimbly and the U.S. Open and by then, everyone else on tour will be on top of their respective games while he’ll need to regain his form – and confidence. Pick: None
