The 127th French Open gets underway on May 30 at Roland Garros and runs until June 13. While we’re still more than two months away from tennis’ second Grand Slam of the year, there’s no better time than now to place a wager on the clay court tournament.
Here’s the top three favorites for both the men’s and women’s draws to win big betting in the French Open.

ATP | Novak Djokovic +152
The French Open is the Grand Slam with which Novak Djokovic has experienced the least amount of success – he’s only a two-time champion – but that’s in large part due to the dominance of Rafael Nadal, who is a 14-time champion at Roland Garros. Betting against Nadal at the French Open typically isn’t recommended, but he’s been showing signs of decline, while Djokovic continues to excel.
The 23-time Grand Slam winner won the Australian Open with ease this past January and appears poised to take over the distinction as the all-time leader in Grand Slam victories this year – he’s tied with Nadal right now.
Bet Novak Djokovic Today
ATP | Carlos Alcaraz +172
Carlos Alcaraz could be the next superstar on the ATP Tour and proved his potential last season by winning the US Open at just 19 years old. He ended the year as the world No. 1, becoming the youngest player to ever do so. Alcaraz missed the Australian Open due to injury, and, while his health is worth monitoring, he should be tough to beat at Roland Garros.
Alcaraz reached the quarter-finals at last year’s French Open before losing to Alex Zverev. He’s a career 107-30 on clay court for a 78.1 percent win rate.
Bet Carlos Alcaraz Today
ATP | Rafael Nadal +250
Rafael Nadal has shown signs of decline dating back to late last season, but that doesn’t mean he won’t show up at Roland Garros, and +250 is great value for someone who has won there 14 times since 2005. He’s 474-45 in his career on clay for a winning percentage of 91.3. It’s difficult to imagine a healthy Nadal not at least reaching the final.

WTA | Iga Swiatek -111
It’s not often that a player is favored as much as Iga Swiatek is at the French Open, but she’s clearly established herself as the best player in the women’s game and is at her best on clay. Swiatek, the defending French Open champion, is 102-15 on clay in her career.
Swiatek bowed out of the Australian Open in the Round of 16 to Elena Rybakina but has since reached back-to-back finals and won the Qatar TotalEngergies Open.
Bet Iga Swiatek to Win Today
WTA | Ons Jabeur +890
Despite losing in the first round at last year’s French Open, Ons Jabeur has the second-shortest odds to win the tournament this year. The Tunisian tennis player also lost in the second round of this year’s Australian Open and hasn’t played since. She performed well in three of the four majors last year, but it’s a little surprising she’s favored this well at Roland Garros in 2023.
Bet Ons Jabeur to Win Today
WTA | Coco Gauff +1225
American sensation Coco Gauff has still yet to break through at a Grand Slam, but this could be her year. She was runner-up to Swiatek at last year’s French Open and has been playing well to start this season. If anyone has a shot at beating Swiatek on clay it’s Gauff.
Bet Coco Gauff to Win Today
