Jessica Andrade vs Rose Namajunas

Jessica Andrade (19-6) is 27-years-old and stands 5’2” with a 62-inch reach. She’s won three straight fights since losing to former champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 211 in May 2017. Andrade comes into this bout off a thrilling first round knockout of Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC 228 that earned her Fight of the Night honors in September.

Rose Namajunas (8-3) is 26-years-old and stands 5’5” with a 65-inch reach. Ironically, Namajunas won the strawweight title by beating  Jedrzejczyk via first round TKO (punches) at UFC 217 in November of 2017 before backing that up by beating Jedrzejczyk via unanimous decision in their rematch bout in April of last year.

UFC 237 Prediction: Andrade might be the favorite here, but I’m going with the reigning champ to retain her title via second round knockout.

Jared Cannonier vs Anderson Silva

Jared Cannonier (11-4) is 35-years-old and stands 5’11” with a 77-inch reach. He snapped a two-fight losing streak by beating David Branch via second round TKO (punches) at UFC 230 in November.

The great Anderson Silva (34-9-1) is 44-years-old and stands 6’2” with a 77.5-inch reach. The legendary former middleweight champ has dropped three of his last four fights and comes into this bout off a unanimous decision loss against the rising Israel Adesanya at UFC 234 in February.

UFC 237 Prediction: Jared Cannonier might be the favorite, but I was impressed with Anderson Silva’s performance in his last bout and I believe he’s more than capable of pulling off the ‘upset’ in this one!

Alexander Volkanovski vs Jose Aldo

Alexander Volkanovski (19-1) is 30-years-old and stands 5’6” with a 71.5-inch reach. The Australian native has won 16 straight fights and comes into this bout off a second round TKO destruction (punches) over Chad Mendes at UFC 232 in December.

Jose Aldo (28-4) is 32-years-old and stands 5’7” with a 70-inch reach. The former champ has won two straight after dropping consecutive fights against Max Holloway and comes into this bout off a second round TKO win (punches) over Renato Moicano at UFC Fight Night: Assuncao vs. Morales 2 in February.

UFC 237 Prediction: There’s no way Jose Aldo loses this fight as he’s only fallen to the very best of the best throughout his fantastic career!

On another note MMA betting enthusiasts. Reigning heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier will defend his title against former champion Stipe Miocic on Aug. 17. Cormier won the title via first-round knockout at UFC 226 last July. Their bout will headline UFC 241 when it goes down live from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
