Connor Parker +260 vs Eithan James -400

  • Saturday, Nov. 19

14-1 Connor Parker has a single stoppage victory to his credit. It wasn’t a technical knockout or knockout. It was a referee technical decision. Other than that, Connor has won on points, which should put him at a disadvantage.

But Eithan James doesn’t appear to have any power, either. James is 9-0 and beat an 8-77-6 boxer in Lee Connelly on points in his last. At the odds, Parker is the play.

Boxing Pick: Connor Parker

Ionut Baluta +160 vs Liam Davies -227

  • Saturday, Nov. 19

The underdog in this has a decent 15-3 record with 3 knockouts. Baluta’s last loss happened two fights ago. The loss occurred versus fan fave Michael Conlon.

Losing to Conlan isn’t a big deal. Also, Baluta bounced back with a unanimous decision victory over Brad Foster. Ionut faces 12-0 Liam Davies. Liam can win this, but the odds suggest he’s got a much better chance than he does. Baluta has fought the stronger opponents. So Ionut gets the nod.

Boxing Pick: Ionut Baluta

Stephen Danyo +428 vs Milan Prat -833

  • Saturday, Nov. 19

Danyo versus Prat should be an entertaining fight. Underdog Danyo is 25-3 with 7 stoppage wins. Danyo’s lone knockout loss happened in his last, a fight versus then 12-0 Artem Oganesyan.

Milan Prat is 17-0. The reason Prat is such a huge favorite is because he’s stopped 14 of his opponents before the final bell. Prat should do the same to Danyo. So look to play under the total rounds or look for a knockout prop before betting Milan on the money line.

Boxing Pick: Milan Prat

Aleksei Egorov +235 vs Arsen Goulamirian -357 | WBA Super Cruiserweight Title

  • Saturday, Nov. 19

We didn’t even know there was such a thing as a Super Cruiserweight Division. Amazingly, Goulamirian is the WBA titlist but he’s never fought outside of his native France. Okay, Arsen did fight twice in Belgium.

Aleksei Egorov is one of those tough Russian pugilists who doesn’t know how to lose. Egorov has an 11-0 record with 7 knockout victories. But although Egorov has a chance, we shouldn’t look past Goulamirian’s 26-0 record, long and effective jab, and ability to take a punch. Goulamirian gets the win.

Boxing Pick: Arsen Goulamirian

Jonathan Oquendo +313 vs Toka Kahn Clary -526

  • Sunday, Nov. 20

Chalk Toka Kahn Clary last fought in 2020. The bout happened versus Shakur Stevenson. As you might expect, Shakur dusted Clary, easily beating Toka via unanimous decision.

Fighting off a layoff is usually to a boxer’s detriment. In this case, it’s not that big of a deal because Jonathan Oquendo also hasn’t fought since 2020. Like Clary, Oquendo lost his last bout, a disqualification defeat in a fight against Jamel Herring.

Because both step into the ring off long layoffs, neither Clary nor Oquendo has the edge. In a match where neither fighter has the edge, backing the one offering the best odds is the way to go.

Boxing Pick: Jonathan Oquendo
