Fury Takes on Chisora and Francisco Estrada Battles Gonzalez | Boxing Betting Analysis

Boxing Events

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 3

Daniel Dubois Over 5.5 -125 vs. Kevin Lerena Under 5.5 -111 | WBA “Regular” Heavyweight Title

  • London – ESPN+

Dubois is the massive chalk because he’s lost a single bout during his career. Daniel fell to Joe Joyce via tenth round TKO back in 2020.

The underdog has never fought outside of South Africa, which is why Dubois is such a huge chalk. Lerena won’t win this, but he should last until at least the sixth. Going over makes sense.

Boxing Pick: Over 5.5

Tyson Fury Over 6.5 -147 vs. Derek Chisora Under 6.5 +107 | WBA Heavyweight Title

  • London – ESPN+

Derek broke a 3-match losing streak in his last with a decent split-decision win against Kubrat Pulev. No doubt, this is a massive step up.

Fury could knockout Chisora early. But it’s doubtful Tyson makes Derek look silly. So we should expect Fury to elongate the fight until at least the ninth.

Boxing Pick: Over 6.5

Joselito Velasquez -322 vs Cristofer Rosales +215

  • Glendale, AZ – DAZN

34-6 Cristofer Rosales has also won 21 of his bouts via stoppage. In addition, Rosales is on a 2-mach winning streak with victories against Ernesto Irias and Wilmer Blas.

But there’s an issue backing Cristofer. The underdog in this has fight primarily in his native Argentina.

Joselito Velazquez is 15-0-1 with 10 knockout wins. Also, Velazquez is one of the sports up and comers after beating Jose Soto via TKO in his last. The chalk wins.

Boxing Pick: Joselito Velazquez

Julio Cesar Martinez -909 vs. Samuel Carmona +455 | WBC Flyweight Title

  • Glendale, AZ – DAZN

Carmona is undefeated with an 8-0 record but this is an incredibly huge step up in class.

JCM lost his last fight. The bout was against Roman Gonzalez. Before the loss, Martinez had won 18 straight with 2 no contests.

Julio Cesar dominates. If you can find a knockout prop that you like, back the prop before throwing dollars behind JCM on the moneyline.

Boxing Pick: Julio Cesar Martinez

Juan Francisco Estrada +175 vs. Roman Gonzalez -250 | WBC Franchise Title

  • Glendale, AZ – DAZN

Estrada versus Gonzalez is one of the rematches for which boxing fans have waited. In the first bout, Estrada outpointed Gonzalez in a split-decision victory. Many thought Chocolatito had won.

Since the fight, Roman beat Julio Cesar Martinez via unanimous decision and Juan Francisco Estrada bested Argi Cortes. Estrada’s fight happened this past September, which means Juan Francisco could be too tired to handle a pit bull like Gonzalez.

The odds make Estrada playable, but Roman will have the energy edge. Chocolatito  exacts his revenge.

Boxing Pick: Roman Gonzalez
