Lennox Clarke -350 vs Mark Heffron +250

The 22-year-old Clarke is 20-1-1 with 8 knockout wins. Lerrone Richards beat Clarke via split-decision in 2019. Since the loss, Clarke beat then 13-0 Willy Hutchinson via fifth round TKO in a bout in March 2021.

The layoff does not bode well for Clarke in this matchup with Mark Heffron. The underdog in this has a decent 27-2-1 record.

Since a 2020 loss to Denzel Bentley, Heffron has won 2 straight, beating Farouk Daku and Tomas Bezvoda. Clarke is an obvious step up in class. But Heffron can get it done.

Boxing Pick: Mark Heffron

Sena Agbeko +100 vs Winfred Harris Jr. -140

Agbeko has an excellent 25-2 record with 20 knockout or technical knockout wins. The 30-year-old from Ghana always bring it in the ring.

Slight favorite Winfred Harris Jr. is 22-1-1 with 10 knockout wins. Harris Jr. will attempt to pile up points and win this from a distance. But the favorite faces a more experienced fighter with more power than he possesses. Agbeko is the play.

Boxing Pick: Sena Agbeko

Ricardo Sandoval -2000 vs David Jimenez +750

20-1 with 15 knockout wins, Ricardo Sandoval is a massive chalk to beat David Jimenez. The favored boxer hasn’t lost since a 2016 bout versus Alonso Ceja.

Sandoval has won his last 7 bouts via TKO or KO. David Jimenez is 11-0 with 9 knockout wins, but he’s fought mainly in his native Costa Rica. This is a huge step up.

Sandoval should have no trouble winning this one via knockout. Look for a TKO or KO prop before accepting the short moneyline odds.

Boxing Pick: Ricardo Sandoval

Lamont Roach -700 vs Angel Rodriguez +400

On paper, Roach versus Rodriguez should be a close fight. The chalk is 22-1-1 with 9 knockout or technical knockout wins. The underdog is 20-1 with 10 TKO or KO wins.

But although Rodriguez has a decent record, we shouldn’t kid ourselves. This bout is to make Lamont look good. Rodriguez has fought primarily in Venezuela where the competition isn’t close to Roach’s level.

Roach’s lone loss happened against Jamel Herring in 2019. Herring would be a -2000 chalk versus Rodriguez. This one shouldn’t last long. Lamont Roach wins via TKO or KO. Consider backing Roach on a prop before accepting the -700.

Boxing Pick: Lamont Roach

Javier Fortuna +600 vs Ryan Garcia -1200

Underdog Javier Fortuna has skills. The +600 moneyline choice enters this bout with a sweet 34-3-1 record. Fortuna has won 26 bouts via technical knockout or knockout.

But although Fortuna is a good boxer, he faces one of the best active pugilists in North America on Saturday. Ryan Garcia is 22-0 with 18 knockout victories.

When Garcia decides to box, he can hang with almost anyone. The 23-year-old is tall for a lightweight, 5’ 10”, and has an excellent 70-inch reach. Garcia will put a beating onto Fortuna. Look for a KO or TKO prop.

Boxing Pick: Ryan Garcia
