Avery Sparrow +275 vs William Foster III -400

Sparrow brings a decent 11-3 record into this bout. This is the underdog’s second fight this year. In January, Sparrow beat Matt Conway via tenth round technical knockout.

William Foster III has a 14-0 record. Foster III heads into this off the toughest fight of his career, a split-decision victory against Edwin De Los Santos. Sparrow is a step down for the chalk. The underdog has won 4 fights via TKO or KO. The favorite has more power. So expect a Foster III victory before the final bell.

Boxing Pick: William Foster III

Christian Tapia -900 vs Fernando Romero Hilario +500

Tapia versus Romero Hilario should be a better fight than the odds indicate. The -900 chalk is 14-0 with 12 knockout wins. But the +500 underdog is 11-0 with 10 knockout wins.

Part of the reason Hilario is such a big dog is because all of his fights have happened in Mexico. That doesn’t mean much. Expect Hilario to bring excellent inside fighting skills into this. Tapia should win.

The odds make the chalk an underlay, though. Backing the underdog makes sense.

Boxing Pick: Fernando Romero Hilario

Guido Vianello -3300 vs Rafael Rios +900

Vianello is one of the best up and coming boxers in the sport. He’s 8-0-1 with 6 knockout victories.

On Friday, Vianello takes on an opponent who hasn’t fought since November 7, 2020. The last time Rafael Rios stepped into a boxing ring, Carlos Negron sent him to the canvas with a  second-round knockout loss.

The layoff won’t help Rios. Not only that, but Rafael returns to action versus a hard-hitting opponent. Vianello wins for sure. If you can find a decent knockout prop on the MyBookie site, that’s the bet to make.

Boxing Pick: Guido Vianello

Gabriel Flores Jr. -120 vs Giovanni Cabrera -120

The odds imply a tough fight. Both of these guys have the record and skills to win this.

Flores Jr. is 21-1 with 7 knockout or technical knockout wins. What we must love about Flores is that he’s always ready to rumble. Gabriel is just 22 but Saturday will be his twenty-third bout. Flores Jr. heads into this after a majority decision victory over well-regarded Abraham Montoya in March.

Giovanni Cabrera is 20-0. Flores Jr. is a step up from whom Cabrera has been fighting. Eventually, every boxer runs into a wall. Flores Jr. wins via decision.

Boxing Pick: Gabriel Flores Jr.

Joet Gonzalez -275 vs Isaac Dogboe +200

Two terrific featherweights step into the ring when Dogboe takes on Gonzalez. Isaac, like always, will have a disadvantage. The 23-2 underdog is 5’ 4” with a 64 inches reach.

Gonzalez is 25-2 with 15 knockout wins. Joet followed up a loss to Emmanuel Navarrete in October with a ninth round technical knockout win against Jeo Santisima this past March.

Joet has a 6 inches reach advantage and 2 inch height advantage over Dogboe. Although Isaac always brings it, Gonzalez should be able to keep the dog at a distance. The chalks scores the victory.

Boxing Pick: Joet Gonzalez
