  • When: Saturday, March 26

Maxi Hughes -280 vs Ryan Walsh +220 | 12-Rounds – Lightweights

  • Where: Leeds, England – DAZN

With a 24-5-2 record, Maxi Hughes is one of the most respected British boxers in the world. Hughes has fought some tough dudes. He won his last via unanimous decision over Jovanni Straffon.

Ryan Walsh has a 27-3-2 record. Walsh beat Ronnie Clark in his last bout. No doubt, Hughes should be favored, but Walsh is worth a look. The underdog has more power. So unless Maxi controls things with his jab, Walsh could get it done at decent odds.

Boxing Pick: Ryan Walsh

Ebanie Bridges -165 vs Maria Cecelia Roman +135 | 10-Rounds – IBF Women’s Bantamweight Title

  • Where: Leeds, England – DAZN

This title fight should be as competitive as any bout on the DAZN card. New Zealand boxer Ebanie Bridges is 7-0 with 3 knockout wins.

Argentinian Maria Cecelia Roman is 17-5-1. Roman is a good boxer. But she has never knocked out an opponent. Not only that, but she’s 39. It will be tough for Roman to keep up with the younger, more powerful, chalk boxer. Bridges wins this.

Boxing Pick: Ebanie Bridges

Josh Warrington -325 vs Kiko Martinez +250 | 12-Rounds – IBF Featherweight Title

  • Where: Leeds, England – DAZN

Josh “The Leeds Warrior” Warrington fights in front of his hometown fans. Warrington has a fantastic 30-1-1 record. But Josh doesn’t have much power.

Warrington has won 7 times via technical knockout or knockout. Kiko Martinez has a 40-10-2 with 30 knockout wins record. Martinez blasted Kid Galahad in his last, knocking out the favored boxer in the sixth round.

Power can level the playing field in any boxing match. But we must believe Warrington saw the Galahad fight and won’t put himself into a position to feel Martinez’s power. So the favorite wins.

Boxing Pick: Josh Warrington

Joseph Adorno +325 vs Michel Rivera -450 | 10-Rounds – Lightweights

  • Where: Minneapolis, Minnesota – Showtime

Adorno versus Rivera should be fantastic. The underdog has a very good 14-0-2 record. Adorno has won 12 of his bouts via TKO or KO.

Michel Rivera is 22-0 with 14 knockout or technical knockout wins. Most consider Rivera one of the top up and coming boxers in the world. He’s supremely skilled.

So although Adorno has power, the dog will find it difficult to get to the chalk. Rivera adds another victory to his unblemished record.

Boxing Pick: Michel Rivera

Terrell Gausha +500 vs Tim Tszyu -1000 | 12-Rounds – Junior Middleweights

  • Where: Minneapolis, Minnesota – Showtime

22-2-1 with 11 knockout wins, Gausha has the experience to make like difficult for 20-0 Tim Tszyu. But Gausha has lost twice with a draw in his last 5 bouts.

More importantly, Gausha hasn’t fought since last March. Tszyu has fought 3 times since Gausha’s last bought.

Tim Tszyu is one of the world’s best pound-for-pound. He won’t lose this bout. Don’t be surprised if Tszyu, who has won 15 bouts via TKO or KO, knocks out Gausha before the eighth.

Boxing Pick: Tim Tszyu

Jeremia Nakathila +375 vs Miguel Berchelt -550 | 10-Rounds – Featherweights

  • Where: Las Vegas, Nevada – ESPN

Nakathila is 22-2 with 18 knockout wins. The underdog fought great against Shakur Stevenson in his last loss, falling to Shakur via unanimous decision.

Nakathila won his last fight, knocking out overmatched Ndodana Nkube in the second round. Jeremia shouldn’t knockout Miguel Berchelt. The favorite is 38-2 with 34 knockout wins.

Yes, Berchelt fell to Oscar Valdez in his last, but Valdez is on another level. The chalk wins this via TKO or KO.

Boxing Pick: Miguel Berchelt
