The Tide dominated the Rebels on both sides of the ball, outgaining Ole Miss, 613-253, while forcing two turnovers and compiling five sacks in the game. Hurts finished the game 12-of-19 for 197 yards and two scores through the air, and a team-high 101 rushing yards and a score on 10 carries to lead the Alabama offense. The game marked Hurts’ seventh career 100-yard rushing game and his third of the season. Five different rushers scored on the ground for the Tide, including Hurts. The Tide lead the FBS in total efficiency at 97.3, courtesy of ranking second in both offensive and defensive efficiency. That’s the highest total efficiency through five games in the past 10 seasons, equaling their mark in 2012. Alabama has defeated 69 consecutive unranked teams under head coach Nick Saban. The last loss to an unranked team came against Auburn to close out the 2007 season. The current streak began with a win over Colorado on Dec. 30, 2007, in the Independence Bowl. The Aggies (4-1) beat South Carolina 24-17 last week. Keith Ford ran for 70 yards and two touchdowns, including the go-ahead 17-yard score in the fourth quarter.
