PGA Tour 2022 US Open Odds Analysis of the Top 3 Players

PGA Tour 2022 US Open Odds Analysis of the Top 3 Players

The 2022 US Open is set to begin on Thursday, June 16, and a winner will be crowned on Sunday, June 19. The Country Club at Brookline, Massachusetts will host the 2022 event, and there are plenty of storylines heading into this tournament.

Of course, this field will once again feature the best golfers in the world, but it will also feature players coming back to the United States after competing in the LIV Golf Invitational. Those players will be able to compete in major golf tournaments, but they are suspended from the PGA Tour.

The US Open betting odds have been available for weeks, and those odds have continued to change. The betting odds are pretty much set entering the week, and you will find some great betting options.

Here are three golfers and the US Open Betting Lines that you should be looking at.

Top 3 Odds to Win the 2022 U.S. Open | Golf Betting Analysis

Rory McIlroy +1100

Scottie Scheffler was the early betting favorite to win the US Open, especially after a dominant performance at the Masters. Justin Thomas is another golfer that was favored to win this even at one point, but there is now a new player on top of the leaderboard.

Rory McIlroy is the favorite to win the US Open at +1100, and it’s for good reason. McIlroy just won the RBC Canadian Open last week, and he is clearly playing some of the best golf in recent seasons.

The last US Open championship for McIlroy came all the way back in 2011, and he is looking for his first major win since the 2014 PGA Championship. That is too long of a drought for a golfer that is one of the best in the world.

Xander Schauffele +2100

Xander Schauffele might hold the dubious distinction of being the best player on the PGA Tour to never have won a major, and that’s going to change at some point. It’s almost hard to believe that Schauffele has never won a major, and he has odds at +2100 to get the job done this weekend.

The US Open is always a tournament that really challenges the players with tough shots, and few are able to make tough shots like Schauffele. He did finish in third place in this event back in 2019, and he should have some confidence heading into this game.

Brooks Koepka +4400

There was a point in time when Brooks Koepka was always considered a favorite in golf tournaments, especially at majors. Injuries have sort of derailed his career a bit, but he is also starting to bounce back and turn things back around.

Koepka just hasn’t been able to find a ton of consistency in 2022, but his best rounds are still better than most on the Tour. The fans in Brookline are expected to have an impact on the outcome, and Koepka will be a fan favorite all weekend long.

Don’t be surprised to see Koepka on the leaderboard on Sunday, and there is some real value in taking him at +4400.
