Invicta FC 44: A New Era Betting Odds Predictions

The Invicta 44 event, which is set to go on Friday night, is one that you will not want to miss if you are a fan of the female side of MMA. The 5-fight main card is for ladies only and it is a strong lineup that should be a ton of fun to watch and wager on. Rather than being a bit of a gimmick, this is a solid main car that has not just one, but two title fights coming your way. There is an awful lot of ground to cover in this one, so let’s jump right into it by delivering a quick preview of all 5 fights set to go on the main card along with their Invicta Betting odds, which begins at 8 PM EST.

MMA Betting Preview for Invicta FC: Phoenix Series 4

Serena DeJesus (+160) Vs Lauren Mueller (-200)

The opening fight on the main card is listed as a Bantamweight bout and features a pair of fighters on different courses at the moment. DeJesus has had a bit of a rough start to her pro career, going 3-2 through her first 5 fights, but she has now won 2 in a row. Things are sliding in the opposite direction for Mueller, as she has now lost 3 straight fights after opening her pro career with 5 straight wins. Despite the losing run, I like Mueller to get back on track with the win.

Jodie Esquibel (+120) Vs Liz Tracy (-150)

It’s the Strawweights who step into the octagon for the second fight of the night, with both fighters in desperate need of a win. Esquibel is back in Invicta after a terrible spell in the UFC, where she lost each of her 4 fights by unanimous decision. Tracy is in a run that has seen her lose each of her last 3 fights, with all of those defeats coming under the Invicta banner. I think we see this one go the distance, with Esquibel getting the win.

Brogan Walker-Sanchez (-400) vs Emilee King (+300)

Next up on the main card is a Flyweight bout that has a pair of very good fighters going head-to-head. For Walker-Sanchez, this one is all about getting back on track. She won the first 6 fights of her pro career before losing 2 in a row ahead of this one. King has had some problems staying consistent as a pro, going 5-5 and losing 2 of her last 3. Unfortunately, I don’t see her changing that here, as I like Walker-Sanchez for the win.

Lisa Verzosa (-160) Vs Taneisha Tennant (+130)

The penultimate fight of the night serves as the co-main event, with the winner of this one walking away with the vacant Bantamweight Championship belt. Verzosa is 6-1 in her pro career and has done things the hard way, going the distance in all 7 of her fights. Tennant is 3-1, but her lone loss came outside of Invicta in the Contender Series. She is unbeaten under the Invicta banner. With a little more experience, I think it’s Verzosa who gets the win.

Emily Ducote (-130) Vs Danielle Taylor (+100)

The headline event of the night is a battle for the Vacant Strawweight Championship belt, and it promises to be a good one. Ducote comes in with a 9-6 record, and while she has been a little up and down in her pro career, she has won 3 of her last 4 fights. Taylor is 11-5 and has some UFC experience under her belt, although she is just 1-1 at the Invicta level. I think that her time in the UFC will serve her well, so I am taking Taylor to win.
