  • Where: UFC Apex, Las Vegas, NV
  • TV / Streaming: ESPN / ESPN+

Ariane Lipski -170 vs Priscilla Cachoeira +145

Favored Ariane Lipski is 14-7. The chalk has a 2 inches reach advantage and is 6-3 via KO or TKO and 3-0 via submission.

Underdog Priscilla Cachoeira is 11-4. Cachoeira has won 3-of-4. She’s great in the stand up, going 6-0, but not so great on the ground, going 0-2. Lipski will force this to the mat and win via a submission.

UFC Fight Night: Ariane Lipski

Augusto Sakai +220 vs Serghei Spivac -270

Sakai is 15-4-1. The underdog matches up well physically. Both are 6’ 3” and Sakai has just a 1-inch reach disadvantage.

But the 14-3 Spivac has won 4 of his last 5 bouts. The lone loss happened versus well-regarded Tom Aspinall. The chalk is the play.

UFC Fight Night: Serghei Spivac

Brogan Walker +100 vs Juliana Miller -120

Walker versus Miller should be the main card’s most competitive bout. Miller is 3-1. Walker is 8-2. Miller’s lone loss happened in May 2021 versus Claire Guthrie.

Walker lost a bout in 2019 and a fight in 2020. But since 2 straight losses, Walker has won, including beating Laura Gallardo via unanimous decision in an Ultimate Fighting Championship Semifinal on July 5.

The favorite can win. But Walker showed something in the last bout. She’s the play.

UFC Fight Night: Brogan Walker

Mohammed Usman +220 vs Zac Pauga -270

8-2 Mohammed Usman is a big underdog versus Zac Pauga. One of the reasons Usman is the underdog is because Pagua is 6-0.

Another reason Zac is attracting money is because he dominated Jordan Heiderman in his last bout, an Ultimate Fighting Championship Semifinal.

Usman won his semifinal via split decision. But Mohammed has a 2-inch height advantage, weighs more, and has a longer reach. The odds don’t justify Usman’s true chances of winning this. The underdog is worth backing.

UFC Fight Night: Mohammed Usman

Vicente Luque -180 vs Geoff Neal +155

Luque versus Neal should be a terrific fight. The -180 favorite is 21-8-1. Luque is 11-0 via KO and TKO and 8-2 via submission victories.

Although Luque lost his last, it was via unanimous decision and after 5 rounds. Vicente has a real shot to bounce back with a win.

Neal is 14-4. After 2 straight losses, the underdog in this bounced back with a nice split-decision victory over Santiago Ponzinibbio. But although Neal looked great in the win, Ponzinibbio has lost 3-of-4. Beating him doesn’t impress much. Luque gets the nod.

UFC Fight Night: Vicente Luque

Thiago Santos +250 vs Jamahal Hill -310

Favored Jamahal Hill is 10-1. Hill’s lost happened in 2021 versus one of the better light heavyweights at UFC, Scotland’s Paul Craig.

Since the loss, Hill has knocked out Jimmy Crute and Johnny Walker. Both knockout wins happened in the first round. Santos is a tough dude. But Hill has a 2-inch advantage and 3 inches reach advantage. Hill wins.
