The new-look Orlando Magic will look to bounce back from their heartbreaking loss on Sunday night and improve their chances of reaching the postseason when they visit the absolutely awful Philadelphia 76ers on a Tuesday night. Now, let’s find out which team will walk away with the SU and ATS NBA odds victory.

How To Bet The Orlando Magic vs. Philadelphia 76ers NBA Odds & TV Info

When: Tuesday, February 23, 7:00 PM  ET Where: Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania TV: FSFL, CSNP Live Stream: CSNP Radio: ESPN 97,3 NBA Odds: TBA

Why Bet The Orlando Magic

The Magic (24-30 SU, 30-23 ATS) made a couple of trade moves and say they’re determined to reach the postseason, but they were on the wrong end of a heartbreaking 105-102 loss against Indiana on Sunday night while failing to cover the spread as a 1.5-point home favorite as their four-game ATS winning streak was snapped. Orlando got a team-high 23 points from swingman Evan Fournier while center Nikola Vucevic added 19 points and a team-high 13 rebounds. Shooting guard Victor Oladipo contributed 17 points, eight assists and seven rebounds and backup point guard Brandon Jennings chipped in 12 points and seven assists. The bad news is that the Magic shot just 41.8 percent (38 of 91) in the loss and just 65.5 percent (19 of 29) from the free throw line. “We had a chance to win, but it almost seemed like a miracle that we did,” Magic coach Scott Skiles said. “Missed layups, missed free throws, a ton of busted defensive coverages. We just didn’t play a real professional game from beginning to end.”

Why Bet The Philadelphia 76ers

The Sixers (8-47 SU, 26-28 ATS) got a stellar performance from gifted rookie big man Jahlil Okafor as the former Duke star scored a career-high 31 points, though the rest of his teammates got overwhelmed in their loss vs Dallas. Okafor added eight rebounds in the loss and departed with more than six minutes remaining in the final period, but Philly has now lost four straight, though they’ve gone 4-1 ATS over their last five. Okafor set a season-high in scoring for any Sixers his season, but downplayed his performance afterward. “We lost and we lost pretty badly, too,” Okafor said. Philadelphia’s defense was nearly non-existent as they failed to record consecutive stops in the game, even once. “They picked us apart and we chased the whole night,” coach Brett Brown said. “They have high-IQ players. . . . Our problem was defense and we got in a scrambled mode and chasing a lot . . . when Nerlens [Noel] is on the bench”

Expert Pick & Final Score Prediction

Believe it or not, the Sixers beat the Magic 96-87 the last time out and have won two of the last four meetings against the Magic overall. Unfortunately, I don’t see Philly getting the win in this contest against an Orlando Magic team I expect to be completely desperate coming into this contest. The Magic are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a straight up loss, 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games against a team with a losing home record and 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games against teams from the Atlantic division. I know the 76ers are 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games against a team with a losing road record and 5-1 ATS in their last six home games, but Philly is also just 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games against teams from the Southeast division and 9-23 ATS in their last 32 home dates against the Magic. With the road team going 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings I say the Magic win and narrowly cash in! My final score prediction: Orlando 104 Philadelphia 95
