Why Bet on Sacramento?

The Kings gave up weeks ago when they traded All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins to New Orleans. Sacramento will have back guard Ben McLemore after he was away from the team for a few games for the birth of his child. At times this season, McLemore has been lost in the shuffle at the shooting guard spot. He’s had bright moments, but also challenges as the Kings brought in Arron Afflalo, Garrett Temple, Malachi Richardson and Buddy Hield to compete for minutes at his position. McLemore is averaging a career-low 7.2 points per game in just 18.2 minutes a night, but he’s shooting 39.4 percent from behind the arc. Since the start of February, McLemore is shooting 51.3 percent from 3-point range, but consistent minutes have been tough to come by.When Richardson suffered a partially torn hamstring on February 15th, it was a disappointing blow to the Kings. Richardson had played well, and the Kings had struggled to find consistent production at the shooting guard position. Many of thought Richardson might be done for the season, but he could play Friday. The Kings have been going young since trading Cousins. Recently against Phoenix, first-round pick Skal Labissiere scored 32 points on 11-of- 15 shooting to go along with 11 rebounds. He is the first Kings rookie with at least 32 points since Tyreke Evans had 32 vs. San Antonio on Feb. 3, 2010, and the first Kings rookie with at least 30 points and 10 rebounds since Lionel Simmons had 35 points and 11 boards vs. Dallas on April 9, 1991. Labissiere is the only Kings’ player since 1983 to have a 30-plus points and 10- plus rebounds game before turning the age of 21.This season, the Kings are 18-12 when the bench outscores the opposing bench. Kings are currently averaging 35.1 ppg from the bench. Sacramento did upset Golden State earlier this season, 109-106 at home. So miracles do happen.

Why Bet on Golden State?

As if the Warriors needed a bigger advantage here, they have been off since winning a fifth straight game Tuesday, 112-87 in Dallas. Stephen Curry faced off against brother Seth and hit 7-of- 14 shots and three 3-pointers for 17 points, five boards, nine assists and two steals. Klay Thompson stayed red-hot, hitting 9-of- 15 shots and five 3-pointers for 23 points and three steals. The Warriors became the first team ever to win at least 28 road games in three consecutive seasons. The Warriors have a record 90 wins away from home during that span.Golden State improved to 11-4 in the second game of back-to- backs this season. The Warriors are 45-9 in such games since 2014-15. The Warriors, who entered averaging an NBA-best 30.3 assists per game, had 34 helpers on 43 baskets. Andre Iguodala (left hip strain) didn’t play. It was likely just a maintenance day, although the Warriors won’t need him to beat the Kings.Kevin Durant’s (knee) progress has the Warriors hopeful he can return before end of regular season. KD is doing some on-court work these days, but he still doesn't have a target date. He was expected to miss four weeks, which means his original target window will be at the end of this month. At the time of his injuries, Durant was averaging a team-leading 25.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game in his first season with the Warriors. The Kings have not won at Oracle Arena in seven games with the last victory coming on March 27, 2013 in a 105-98 win. Prior to 109-106 overtime loss at Sacramento on Feb. 4, the Warriors had won 13 straight meetings against the Kings. Since the Kings moved to Sacramento (1985-86), the Warriors have a 71-65 regular season record, including a 45-23 home record against their in-state rival.Kings Owner and Chairman Vivek Ranadive served as the Vice Chairman of the Warriors prior to purchasing the Kings in 2013.

Sacramento at Golden State Betting Pick: Sacramento Kings

Anytime a team gets at least 15 points in an NBA game, I take them. More often than not, they cover.
