With only 6 losses in the season it's dumb not to take the Warriors as favorites for the title.

Written by on March 7, 2016

It’s the end of another weekend in the National Basketball Association. Each week, the odds to win the NBA Championship change a little bit. Let’s be honest, the top team doesn’t change, and they still come in with incredible NBA betting odds to win the title. Let’s look at March 7th, 2016 and give you the updated NBA odds.

Updated 2016 NBA Championship Odds

Warriors Still the Favorites

The Golden State Warriors are 56-6 after their shocking loss to the Lakers last night but still have the best odds to win the National Basketball Association championship. Golden State will be looking for back to back titles. It’s a little unheard of in a professional league such as the NBA, the Warriors have such great odds. Golden State is listed -170 to win the 2016 NBA title.

Cavs Come in 2nd

LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers are next on the list. The best team in the Eastern Conference, which is why they are ahead of the rest of the Western power house teams. The Cleveland Cavaliers should skate through the Eastern Conference finals once again. Cleveland comes into the new week at +350 to win the NBA title.

Spurs Having a Great Year

Next up on the list, out of the Western Conference is the San Antonio Spurs. If the Warriors did not exist, people would be clamoring over the success that the Spurs have been having. San Antonio is a great, fundamental team that is tough to beat. The San Antonio Spurs come into the new week listed at +375 to win the NBA title.

Thunder Struggling But Still Could Win It

Next is the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder have struggled as of late, but are the fourth best team in the league. The Thunder have crazy athleticism and could pose problems for the best teams in the league. Anytime you have Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook combination, you are in good hands. The Oklahoma City Thunder are listed at +1200 to win the title.

Clippers Odds to Win it All

The Los Angeles Clippers are next on the list, but there is a huge drop between Oklahoma City and the Clippers. That’s a little surprising that there is a large difference between those two teams. The Clippers have athleticism as well with Chris Paul, and the return of Blake Griffin. If the Clippers shoot the basketball well; look out. The Los Angeles Clippers are +2800 to win the NBA title.

Raptors Have a Shot in East

Finally, the next best Eastern Conference team is the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors would likely have better odds if they could play the postseason at home. They will likely be a road team in the series against Cleveland, if that happens. The Raptors are second in the Eastern Conference behind the duo of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozen. Toronto is listed at +3500 to win the NBA title. There you have it; those are the top six teams to win the 2016 NBA title. If you are looking for the Top ten, Boston Celtics — +4000, Miami Heat — +6000, Chicago Bulls — +6500, Atlanta Hawks — +7000. Enjoy the remainder of the NBA season and best of luck!
