Worst ATS Teams To Be Betting On

20. Sacramento (22-24 ATS, 20-26 SU) DeMarcus Cousins and the Kings have lost and failed to cover the spread in three straight – following a surprising five-game SU and ATS winning streak. 21. Memphis (22-24-1 ATS, 27-20 SU) The Grizz have won two straight and six of their last seven games overall while covering the spread in two straight. Be careful though as all of the Grizzlies most recent wins have come over mediocre ballclubs. 22. Cleveland (19-23-2 ATS, 32-12 SU) LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers might be the beast of the mediocre East, but when it comes to covering the spread, the Cavs have been completely mediocre at home (10-11 ATS) and on the road (9-12-2 ATS). 23. Philadelphia (21-25-1 ATS, 7-40 SU) So what the Sixers are God-awful, at least they’re not the worst ATS team in the league. As a matter of fact, Philly has gone 6-2 ATS over their last eight games and own a solid 13-13 ATS mark on the road as their opponents generally face huge odds. 24. New Orleans (20-25 ATS, 17-28 SU) The Pelicans have been a major disappointment this season, but they could be turning the corner. Anthony Davis and company have won three of their last four games while covering the spread in five of their last six. 25. Minnesota (20-26-1 ATS, 14-33 SU) The Timberwolves were supposed to be a bit better than what they’ve shown this season, but they’ve still got plenty of young talent. Unfortunately, Minnesota has lost four of their last five and eight of 10 overall. Strangely enough, the T-Wolves have managed to cover the spread in three straight heading into Friday night. 26. L.A. Personally, I wouldn’t bet a buck on this bunch of quitters! 28. Chicago (18-27 ATS, 26-19 SU) Not only is Derrick Rose no longer an MVP caliber kind of player, but he’s clearly not even the best player on the Bulls anymore (that title belongs to Jimmy Butler). The Bulls have been a bad bet on the road (9-11 ATS) and a really bad bet at home (9-16 ATS). 29. Oklahoma City (19-29 ATS, 35-13 SU) The Thunder may have two legitimate superstars in Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, but they’re still the second-worst ATS team in the league right now. The Thunder have failed to cover the spread in four straight and five of their last six games overall. Oklahoma City has gone a horrific 6-16 ATS on the road this season. 30. Phoenix (18-29 ATS, 14-33 SU) It’s kind of hard to cover the spread often – when you don’t play any defense whatsoever! The Suns have failed to cover the spread in seven of their last nine games and are just 7-17 ATS on the road this season.
