Kentucky may be wildly inconsistent this season, but they’re my pick to take down Alabama and cover the spread if it doesn’t go over….let’s say…six points. The Wildcats pounded the snot out of Alabama in its 77-61 road win on Jan. 9 to cash in as a 6.5-point road favorite and I just don’t see them losing to the Tide at home in this contest, especially after losing a heartbreaker this weekend. I know the Tide are 21-5-1 ATS in their last 27 games following an ATS loss and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games against a team with a winning home record, but Kentucky is a near-perfect 5-1 ATS in their last half-dozen home games against a team with a winning road record, 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and a consistent 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games versus a team with a winning straight up record.
