NCAAB Betting: Top Games to Wager From Wednesday to Thursday (Feb. 9th – 10th)

#6 Houston Cougars at SMU Mustangs

  • When: Wednesday, Feb.9

Southern Methodist is having a very good season. At 16-5, the Mustangs are in second place in the American Athletic Conference.

On Wednesday, SMU hosts the best team in the conference, the Houston Cougars. Kelvin Sampson has his squad playing like a Final Four and National Championship contender. Houston is dominating foes. The Cougars are 14-8 ATS. Back Houston with confidence.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Houston Cougars

#25 Xavier Musketeers at Seton Hall Pirates

  • When: Wednesday, Feb.9

Like every season, the Big East is loaded with quality teams. A couple of those quality teams clash on Wednesday night when Seton Hall hosts Xavier.

The Musketeers are just 2-8 ATS in their last 10. Xavier fell to DePaul in their last game, which is a bad sign because Seton Hall is a better team than the Blue Demons. Seton Hall has won two straight and covered in both. The 74-55 victory over Creighton in their last was big. Seton Hall wins and covers.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Seton Hall

#10 Baylor Bears at Kansas State Wildcats

  • When: Wednesday, Feb.9

Not only has Baylor not covered in 3 straight, but they’ve lost 2-of-3 on the moneyline. The game against Kansas in their last was pathetic.

Baylor scored just 59 points while allowing the Jayhawks to drop 83. Kansas State isn’t a great hoops team, they’re 12-10. But the Wildcats have a decent 11-9-2 ATS record. Expect K-State to cover even if Baylor pulls out the SU victory.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Kansas State Wildcats

#7 Duke Blue Devils at Clemson Tigers

  • When: Thursday, Feb. 10

Virginia used a last second 3-point shot on Monday to upset the Duke Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

It’s tough seeing the Dookies losing 2 straight. Clemson, though, pushed Duke in the last head-to-head, falling 71-69. But the Tigers lost to Georgia Tech in their last game. Duke should roll to a win and cover.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Duke Blue Devils

#3 Purdue Boilermakers at Michigan Wolverines

  • When: Thursday, Feb. 10

Purdue remains one of the nation’s top teams. The Big Ten squad averages 84.5 points per from over 50% shooting from the field and over 41% shooting from three.

Michigan hasn’t had a great season. But the Wolverines played great against Purdue in the first game, falling by just 6 points as a +9 ½ underdog. At home, Michigan can turn the tables. They’ve got a great chance of winning this straight up.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Michigan Wolverines

#4 Arizona Wildcats at Washington State Cougars

  • When: Thursday, Feb. 10

If the NCAA Tournament started this week, Arizona would be a top seed. The Wildcats have dominated ASU, UCLA, and USC in their past 4 games.

The victory over UCLA was a revenge win after the Bruins dusted the Cats earlier in the season. Arizona’s win over rival Arizona State on Feb. 7 could have been much worse than the 12-point difference. At one point, U-of-A was up by 28.

Washington State has covered in 3-of-4, but Arizona is the best team in the Pac-12. The Wildcats win and cover.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Arizona Wildcats
