How To Bet The Colorado Buffaloes vs. USC Trojans NCAAB Odds & TV Info

When: Wednesday, February 17, 2016, 11:00 PM ET Where: Galen Center, Los Angeles, California TV: ESPNU Radio: ESPN 710 AM Stream Option: WatchESPN NCAAB Odds: TBA

Why Bet The Colorado Buffaloes

Because they’re playing excellent basketball right now and have ‘owned’ the Trojans since joining the Pac-12. Colorado (19-7 SU, 13-10 ATS) has won two straight games in thrilling fashion by taking out Washington State 88-81 in overtime on Thursday and following that up with an even more exciting 81-80 win over Washington on Saturday. The bad news is that the Buffaloes failed to cover the spread in both games, first as an 11-point home favorite against the Cougars and then as a 3-point home fave against the Huskies. The good news is that Colorado could have senior forward Josh Scott back on the court for this contest after the Buffaloes’ leading scorer (16.7 ppg) injured his ankle two weeks ago against Oregon State. The Buffaloes average a stellar 77.6 points per game (81st) while allowing 70.8 points per game defensively (155th). Colorado is 4-4 SU and ATS on the road this season.

Why Bet The USC Trojans

Because they’re completely desperate right now and are playing at home! The Trojans (18-7 SU, 16-8 ATS) have lost two straight games in falling to Arizona State 74-67 as a 1-point road dog on Friday before following that up with a humbling 86-78 loss against Arizona on Sunday, though the Trojans managed to cover the spread as a 9.5-point road dog. The good news for the Trojans as they come back home is the fact that they’ve complied a perfect 14-0 SU mark on their home floor while posting a bankroll-boosting 11-2 ATS mark along the way. USC averages a whopping 83.1 points per game (17th) and have five players who average at least 12.0 points per contest. The bad news is that the Trojans allow 73.9 points per game defensively to rank 235th nationally. USC’s backcourt duet of junior, Julian Jacobs (5.8 apg) and sophomore Jordan McLaughlin (5.0 apg), rank first and fourth respectively in the Pac-12 in assists while McLaughlin leads all Trojans in scoring by putting up 12.7 points per game.

Expert Pick & Final Score Prediction

Colorado may be one of the most underrated teams in the country, but I don’t see them getting the win on the road against a USC team that has yet to lose on their home floor and enters this contest pretty damned desperate to keep their March Madness tourney hopes alive. The Buffaloes have won seven straight in this series dating back to 2012, including their thrilling 98-94 overtime win over the Trojans on Jan. 29 of last year, but this year, I believe the Trojans are the better team as they hold the edge in scoring, field goal shooting and turnovers. With the Buffaloes going 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall and the Trojans going 13-2-1 ATS in their last 16 home games, I think USC gets the win by close to a half-dozen points. The Buffaloes are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings against USC, but the favorite n this Pac-12 rivalry is also 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. My final score prediction: USC 81 Colorado 77
