Why Bet Buffalo +3 Points

The Buffalo Bills were on the wrong end of a humbling 21-16 loss against the Washington Redskins in Week 3. Backup quarterback EJ Manuel passed for 221 yards and one interception while Walter Powell and Daniel Herron combined for 104 receiving yards on 10 catches. Jonathan Williams rushed for a team-high 42 yards and one touchdown while Robert Blanton led the Bills with four tackles.

Why Bet Detroit -3 Points

The Detroit Lions got smacked around in their 30-9 Week 3 loss against Baltimore. Starting quarterback Matthew Stafford passed for 95 yards and one interception while TJ Jones and Golden Tate combined for 58 receiving yards on four catches. Theo Riddick rushed for a team-high 35 yards on three carries while Antwione Williams recorded a team-high six tackles and Haloti Ngata added one sack.

Expert Prediction and Betting Pick

I haven’t seen a single thing out of either one of these teams that makes me think there’s going to be any competent defense being played. Having said that, I think the best play for this matchup is a pick for the Over 38.5 total points. Both, E.J. Manuel and Dan Orlovsky are pretty decent quarterbacks that could likely start for a handful of teams leading me to believe both veteran backups will put up their fair share of points. Play the Over!

My Pick: Over 38.5 Total Points
