Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller was officially credited Wednesday with a sack, and forced fumble, for his fourth quarter play against the Jaguars. Miller now has 13.5 sacks and leads the league.Siemian (foot) returned to a limited practice Wednesday and it’s looking good for him to return. Siemian will wear an orthotic in his shoe during practices and games to help with his injured foot. But linebacker Brandon Marshall (hamstring) is expected to miss Week 14 against the Titans. In addition, the team placed emerging Kapri Bibbs on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain, ending his season. The Broncos will move forward with Justin Forsett, just picked up this week, as their No. 2 back behind shaky starter Devontae Booker. The Broncos are growing frustrated with Booker’s lack of decisiveness and inability to generate positive gains. He has averaged just 2.80 yards per carry over the last five games.

The Titans, who had a bye in Week 13, are tied with Houston and Indianapolis for first place in the AFC South. Quarterback Marcus Mariota, who was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month in November, has thrown multiple touchdown passes in eight consecutive games, totaling 21 touchdowns, three interceptions and a 117.7 passer rating during that span.Mariota’s 81.3 Total QBR from inside the pocket is third-best in the NFL this season. Last season, he ranked 26th from inside the pocket (52.2 Total QBR). That 29.1 point improvement is best in the NFL the last two seasons. Mariota’s improved play from inside the pocket has allowed him to stretch the field.Mariota has tripled his completions and touchdowns 20+ yards downfield from last season. Four times this season the Titans have had a chance to break above .500, and four times they’ve lost. The Broncos are tough on the passing game, but the Titans could have success on the ground. The Broncos defense leads the league in pass defense and sacks. But if the group has had an issue at times, it has been in run defense where the Broncos are 28th in the league, having allowed 124.8 rushing yards per game. Five of the Broncos’ previous 12 opponents have rushed for at least 140 yards against the Broncos.Coach Mike Mularkey said Monday the Titans have discussed using Derrick Henry in more short-yardage situations. The Titans have ridden DeMarco Murray hard this season and would be smart to begin incorporating Henry, who has put together a 70-312- 2 (4.46 YPC) rushing line while averaging 9.7 yards per passing-game target. Henry is particularly built for short-yardage situations at 6-foot- 2 and 247 pounds.
