He had a passer rating of 45.6, his lowest of the season. Though Osweiler did not throw a touchdown, he did score the Texans’ lone touchdown on a 1-yard run in the second quarter.Osweiler has struggled this season, completing just 59.5 percent of his passes for an average of 5.8 yards per attempt. He has 12 touchdown passes and 13 interceptions. But Coach Bill O'Brien says he won’t bench his QB for Tom Savage. O’Brien said that though Osweiler has struggled, he wanted to point out that it is not just on his quarterback.“Obviously, the head coach and the quarterback take the most criticism when you lose, that’s the nature of the business and we all understand that — but there are 11 guys on the field,” O’Brien said. “There’s an offensive line, there’s running backs, there’s receivers, there’s tight ends.”One area where Osweiler’s struggles are especially apparent is his inability to throw downfield. This season, he has completed just 26 percent of passes that are thrown 15 or more yards past the line of scrimmage, which is the lowest among qualified quarterbacks. Because of his inability to throw downfield, Osweiler has not been able to connect with wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins, who had 111 catches for 1,521 yards and 11 touchdowns last season while catching passes from four different quarterbacks, has just 55 catches for 610 yards and three touchdowns.Texans RB Lamar Miller (ankle) was limited at Wednesday’s practice. Miller appeared to tweak his ankle late in Sunday’s loss to San Diego but his presence at practice suggests he’ll be good to for Week 13. TE C.J. Fiedorowicz (shoulder) was limited at Wednesday’s practice. He’s been nursing a shoulder injury in recent weeks but isn’t in danger of missing Sunday's game against Green Bay. Fiedorowicz has drawn at least seven targets in five of his last seven games.

Green Bay has had one or more players register 10-plus receptions and/or 100-plus receiving yards in eight of the last nine games. The Packers have scored 23 or more points in eight of the last nine games.Under McCarthy, the Packers are 8-5 in games played the week after appearing on Monday Night Football, including wins in six of the last eight.
