The Dolphins (5-4) won their fourth straight last week, 31-24 at San Diego. Fins linebacker Kiko Alonso tricked Philip Rivers into thinking he was going to cover a slot receiver, then broke off, jumped in front of Tyrell Williams for the interception and outraced everyone 60 yards to the end zone with 1:01 left for the winning TD. The Dolphins intercepted Rivers four times in a 13-minute span in the fourth quarter.Instead of flying back to Miami after that game, the Dolphins practiced in southern California this week. Fins Pro Bowl tackle Branden Albert will not play against the Rams. Albert sustained a wrist injury in the second quarter of the victory against the Chargers on Sunday but returned in the third quarter with a cast on his left hand. When Albert was out of the lineup, the Dolphins used first-round pick Laremy Tunsil at left tackle and Kraig Urbik at left guard. This will be third game Albert will miss this season.Dolphins coach Adam Gase said DE Mario Williams (ankle) is “not where he wants to be.” Williams was able to avoid a high-ankle sprain in last week’s win over San Diego but his status for Week 11 is in question. CB Xavien Howard (knee) isn’t expected to return this week. Howard was given a 3-6 week timetable after going down in early October, but has missed more time than expected. The Dolphins are also likely to be without CB Chris Culliver (knee) for Sunday’s game.Ball security offensively has been one of the biggest keys to success for Miami in its longest winning streak since 2008. Miami has forced nine turnovers while committing just one, which came on special teams last week when rookie receiver Jakeem Grant muffed a punt against the Chargers. Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins offense have not turned the ball over since Week 5. Miami’s improved running game has helped reduce turnovers. Tailback Jay Ajayi has 608 rushing yards in the past four games and is fourth in the AFC with 40 first downs.

In doing so, Goff set 26 program records and set Pac-12 single-season records with 4,719 yards passing and 43 touchdown passes in 2015.Goff’s preseason performance wasn’t great but the 22-year- old has almost certainly improved since completing just 22 of 49 passes for 232 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Goff sat nine games as a rookie before being named the starter, same as Eli Manning in 2004. Three No. 1 overall picks in the common draft era sat double digit games as rookies, including all 16 games for Carson Palmer.Goff faces a Miami defensive front anchored not only by Ndahumkong Suh – who has five sacks this year and has made the All-Pro first team four times – but also Cameron Wake, who isn’t slowing down even as he nears his 35th birthday. The defensive end has notched seven sacks this season, which ties him for eighth in the NFL and puts him on pace for the third-highest total of his career.
