After losing by a single point to the Bengals in Week 1, the Jets used a combination of timed attacks and serviceable defending to earn a victory over the Buffalo Bills last Thursday. With a few days of extra rest, the New York Jets should be fully motivated for a strong performance in Kansas City. Key to New York’s chances will be the team’s ability to protect its QB and get the ball to Matt Forte, who’s been the best NY player through the first two weeks—he had 22 carries for 99 rushing yards and 5 receptions for 59 receiving yards receiving in Week 1, followed by a stellar three-touchdowns performance plus 100 yards on 30 carries in Week 2.
