Detroit Lions over Cleveland Browns

• When: Sunday, November 12, 1:00 p.m.
• Where: Ford Field, Detroit

With a 0-8 record coming into this week, the Cleveland Browns are beginning to look like a team that might be destined to go winless this season. Week 10 will see them take on a Detroit Lions teams coming off a massive Monday night win over the Green Bay Packers on the road. Surprisingly, the Lions have been much better on the road than they have been at home this season, but this is a chance to make amends to their fans, as they should be able to take care of the Browns at Ford Field. I really don’t see the short week for the Lions being an issue in this one, as I think a comfortable win is on the cards for them.

2016 was a very good year for the Bucs, and the belief was that they would take another step forward this season, with the playoffs looking like a good bet. Things have not gone according to plan for Tampa, though, as they are now just 2-6, with no real shot at a postseason place. QB Jameis Winston was injured last weekend, and his status for the coming weekend is still up in the air. Even if he can go, the Bucs still look to be in tough against a Jets team that is way better than anyone expected. The Jets are coming off a surprising win over the Buffalo Bills, and I like them to keep the good times rolling against Tampa this weekend.

Things don’t look as though they are about to get any brighter for the Texans this weekend, as they will be going up against an LA Rams team that is scoring just for fun. I just don’t see Houston being able to hang with that Rams defense, which is why I think LA is a rather safe bet SU.

The Denver Broncos are finding that out the hard way, as none of their starters this year have been able to get the job done. Chances are they will roll the dice again with Brock Osweiler, which means that you need to like the chances for a New England win, especially given that the ageless Tom Brady is once again in peak form. I like the Patriots to get the big win on Sunday night.
