NFL Week 11 Best Bets

Okay MyBookie NFL betting buffs, if you’re looking for the best bets on the Week 11 docket, then you’re in luck as I offer up my top straight-up (SU), parlay and teaser wagers for the quickly-approaching weekend. With that said, let’s rock and roll.

NFL Week 11 Best Bets

Straight-Up

Pittsburgh at Cleveland

When: 1:00 PM ET, Sunday, November 20, 2016 Where: FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland, Ohio TV: CBS Odds: Pittsburgh -9 Analysis: I’m real fond of Cleveland (0-10 SU, 2-8 ATS) head coach Hue Jackson and I believe he could turn things around for the league’s most beleaguered franchise at some point in the near future. However, right now, the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-5 SU, 4-5 ATS) are the easy pick to lay a Steel-Curtain- sized ass whooping on the Browns in their Week 12 FC North divisional showdown. The Steelers have lost an uncharacteristic four straight games and are coming off a crushing 31-24 loss to Dallas this past weekend. Still, I’m expecting Big Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown to light up Cleveland’s pass defense while Le’Veon bell gets back to looking like one of the best backs in the game today. The Favorite in this divisional rivalry is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings, but again, it is Pittsburgh’s string of recent losses that will have them come out firing on all cylinders in this contest. NFL Pick: Pittsburgh -9 Points

Parlay Picks

Miami at L.A. Rams

When: 4:05 PM ET, Sunday, November 20, 2016 Where: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles, California TV: FOX NFL Odds: L.A. Rams -1 Analysis: It’s not very often that I back the generally underachieving Miami Dolphins (5-4 SU, 5-4 TS) to beat anyone, but the streaking Fins are clearly the pick to beat a Los Angeles Rams (4-5 SU, 4-4- 1 ATS) team that has a good defense, but not much else. Miami has won four straight – by not allowing more than 25 points in any contest – or scoring less than 27 points. Conversely, while the Rams got a hard-fought 9-6 win over the dysfunctional Jets this past weekend, Jeff Fisher’s squad has been held to 10 points or less in three straight games – and that just won’t cut it against the suddenly competitive Dolphins. I’m going to both, encourage you to back Miami to get the outright win, while simultaneously apologizing to Dolphins signal-caller Ryan Tannehill for repeatedly ripping him, although I’m still not sold on the former Texas A&M signal-caller, even five years into his NFL career. NFL Pick: Miami +1 Point

Green Bay at Washington

When: 8:30 PM ET, Sunday, November 20, 2016 Where: FedEx Field, Landover, Maryland TV: NBC NFL Odds: Washington -2.5 Analysis: I know the Green Bay Packers have lost three straight and four of their last five games while Washington has suffered just one loss (and one tie) over their last seven games but it Green Bay’s complete desperation – and a guy named Aaron Rodgers, that leads me to believe the Pack are primed to pull off the upset in this Week 12 NFC clash. Despite their struggles, Green Bay has scored at least 25 points in each of their last four games while Washington has been limited to 17 points or less twice in their last five games. I’m going to advise you to back the desperate Packers to simply beat the Skins in a flat- out shootout. While the Packers are just 1-3 on the road this season, Washington has lost two of their five home dates and is the kind of parity-laden team that just doesn’t inspire a whole lot of confidence in me. The Packers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following an SU loss which tells me they generally bounce back with a solid effort after losing. I know Washington has gone 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall, but the Packers are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games and they have Aaron Rodgers on their side. Green Bay wins outright to cover the spread! Pick: Green Bay +2.5 Points

Teaser Picks

Baltimore at Dallas

When: 1:00 PM ET, Sunday, November 20, 2016 Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas TV: CBS NFL Odds: Dallas -7 Analysis: I don’t think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out that the Dallas Cowboys are now a very legitimate contender to beat anyone. Still, the Baltimore Ravens won’t go down without a fight after winning their last two games. I love the Boys as a teaser pick, dropping them from 7-point favorites to a 1-point fave, thereby effectively making this a straight-up pick. Dallas has the better offense and statistical defense in this matchup and are playing at home. More importantly, the Boys now have one of the top trios in all of football with rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott quickly joining Dez Bryant as elite players. Baltimore has been mostly mediocre this season and lost four straight before beating the struggling Steelers and lowly Browns the last two weeks. With that said, Dallas is a great teaser pick in this Week 12 Inter-conference clash! NFL Pick: Dallas -1

Jacksonville at Detroit

When: 1:00 PM ET, Sunday, November 20, 2016 Where: Ford Field, Detroit, Michigan TV: CBS NFL Odds: Detroit -6.5 Analysis: I know Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions (5-4 SU, 5-4 ATS) can be wildly inconsistent but they’re both, playing well right now – and taking on a Jacksonville Jaguars team that has lost four straight while not scoring more than 22 points in any contest during the stretch. The Lions have won three of their four home games so far while Jacksonville has lost three of their four road dates. Detroit has also gone 4-1 ATS in their last five games and will be a virtual lock as a half-point favorite after teasing them. Keep it simple…Detroit wins and covers the teaser spread easily! NFL Pick: Detroit minus a half-point
