Germany -380

The defending world champions are once again among the favorites to win the World Cup this time around. This is arguably the deepest, strongest squad heading to Russia, and they have proven more than once that they can all come together and win. Their last appearance in a major competition came last summer in Russia at the Confederations Cup, essentially fielding their B team in that event. This team is stacked and are the obvious favorites to come out of what could be a very tricky group. Germany is always efficient and all business, so look for them to book their passage to the knockout stage ASAP.

Mexico +400

This coming Saturday will be a pivotal day for the Mexican squad, as their coach has made it clear that any player not fit enough to take the field versus Scotland in their friendly game will not be in the final squad heading to Russia. The biggest names on the potential omission list are the dos Santos brothers, both of whom ply their trade with the LA Galaxy in the MLS. Even without them, this is a squad that is good enough to get out of this group, although Mexico has made a habit of not getting beyond the Round of 16.

Sweden +550

For a moment, there was talk that Zlatan Ibrahimovic may return to the national team for the World Cup, but that rumor has now been put to rest. Sweden stunned Holland in the qualifying round, finishing ahead of them to get into a playoff game against Italy, where they were heavy underdogs. Sweden is the 2018 World Cup Betting underdog at Group F. They blanked the Italians over the home and home playoff, earning a spot in Russia despite not really having a legitimate star in the squad. This is a team that is solid defensively and really well organized, but going beyond this stage looks like a big ask.

South Korea +1300

South Korea benefitted from a very week qualifying group in their road to Russia, as they failed to register a win on the road on their journey. They will head to the World Cup with a new coach, and it is fair to suggest that they have looked much better since Shin Tae-Yong took over. The Koreans will rely heavily on a blistering counter-attacking game. This is a team blessed with some real offensive speed, as well as a legitimate goal scorer in Son Heung-Min. They might just have enough to upset the 2018 World Cup Betting Odds to win Group F.
