Super Bowl LIV Possible Matchups Odds & Betting Predictions

Super Bowl LIV Possible Matchups Odds & Betting Predictions

Written by on January 9, 2020

Will the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers live up to their respective top-seeded billings to reach Super Bowl LIV? Could either the second-seeded Kansas City Chiefs or Green Bay Packers reach this season’s Big Dance or will a lower seeded  team upset the entire apple cart to represent their respective conferences in this year’s championship culmination?

With a quartet of NFL divisional matchups taking place this coming weekend as the 2019 season inches its way toward Super Bowl LIV, now is a perfect time to take a look at the value-packed odds for this year’s potential Super Bowl matchups. Let’s get started with the six potential matchups that I believe are most likely to take place in Super Bowl LIV, starting in reverse order.

Super Bowl LIV Possible Matchups Odds & Betting Predictions

No. 6 Kansas City Chiefs vs San Francisco 49ers

  • Super Bowl LIV Odds: +400

The Chiefs look like the only team capable of taking out Baltimore in the AFC, but Frisco could very well fall at home against Minnesota in the divisional round. If they do escape against the Vikings, I’ve got the Niners beating Green Bay, but falling to Seattle. If these two meet in Super Bowl 54, I’m going with the Chiefs 28-24 because of their huge edge at quarterback.

No. 5 San Francisco 49ers vs. Baltimore Ravens vs

  • Super Bowl LIV Odds: +225

This potential matchup has all the makings of a thrilling Super Bowl seeing as how Baltimore narrowly got past the Niners 20-17 at home in Week 13. The Niners have an elite defense and they finished a stunning second in scoring (29.9 ppg), but I’m thinking Baltimore’s stout defense will force quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo into a couple of costly turnovers in this potential Super Bowl pairing. Ravens 24 49ers 20.

No. 4 Kansas City Chiefs vs Seattle Seahawks

  • Super Bowl LIV Odds: +1400

The Chiefs could very well reach Super Bowl 54 in the AFC and while Seattle has a tougher way to go in the loaded NFC, I believe it’s possible Russell Wilson and company could become just the fifth team in league history to reach the Super Bowl by winning three playoff games on the road. Also, you should expect to see a high-scoring shootout if these two teams reach Super Bowl 54.

No. 3 Kansas City Chiefs vs Minnesota Vikings

  • Super Bowl LIV Odds: +1800

The Chiefs are on fire as they make their playoff debut in the division round riding a six-game winning streak. After watching Minnesota dismantle Drew Brees and the Saints in the wild card round, I can easily picture the Vikes beating the Niners and whoever wins between Seattle and Green Bay. Still, I;m going with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs 27-21 if these two reach Super Bowl 54. Chiefs 34 Seahawks 28.

No. 2 Baltimore Ravens vs Seattle Seahawks

  • Super Bowl LIV Odds: +810

Believe it or not, the Ravens and Seahawks were my two preseason No. 2 picks to reach Super Bowl 54 and my prediction could very well take place, although Seattle must get it done exclusively on the road. Still, I can’t see Seattle’s often lackluster defense containing Lamar Jackson if these two teams reach Super Bowl 54. Ravens 31 Seahawks 24.

No. 1 Baltimore Ravens vs Minnesota Vikings

  • Super Bowl LIV Odds: +1050

Minnesota’s stingy defense and the improved play of Kirk Cousins makes the Vikings my top pick right now to come out of the NFC. While Kansas City looks dangerous in the AFC, I’m going with the Ravens because they’ve been the best team in football all season long. If these two teams do manage to reach Super Bowl 54, I believe Lamar Jackson will make more plays than Kirk Cousins to lead Baltimore to the narrow Super Bowl win. Baltimore 23 Minnesota 20.

With 10 More potential Super Bowl pairings on the board, here’s a look at my ‘best of the rest’.

Baltimore Ravens vs Green Bay Packers

  • Super Bowl LIV Odds: +480

The Packers field a top ten defense, but Aaron Rodgers and company finished the regular season ranked a modest 15t and that just won’t cut it if they meet Baltimore in Super Bowl 54.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Green Bay Packers

  • Super Bowl LIV Odds: +860

Make no mistake about it, Patrick Mahomes is now better than Aaron Rodgers. Andy Reid is way better than Matt LaFleur and I believe if these two meet in Super Bowl 54, the Chiefs will win by double digits.

Houston Texans vs Minnesota Vikings

  • Super Bowl LIV Odds: +9000

Houston has a tough way to go in the AFC, but they’ve got a flat-out superstar in quarterback Deshaun Watson that can make magical plays all over the field. Still, it’s too much to ask for Watson to get past a Vikings defense that is seemingly everywhere. Minnesota rolls to victory in this potential Super Bowl matchup.
