UFC Fight Night: Hermansson Vs Strickland Betting Odds & Picks

It’s back to Sin City we go for another big UFC Fight Night, with this one delivering a main card that has 6 very good looking fights on tap. As has been the case for a while now, the UFC are putting on these events a little earlier in the day, with this one set to begin at 4 PM EST on Saturday. The main event will feature a pair of fighters on the hunt for a title shot in the near future, and while that is a fantastic matchup, there are plenty of other good bouts to look forward to, so let’s break the main card down and make some predictions along with their UFC odds for UFC Fight Night: Hermansson Vs Strickland.

MMA Betting Preview for UFC Fight Night: Hermansson Vs Strickland

Julian Erosa (-310) Vs Steven Peterson (+250)

We get the main card started with a Featherweight bout between a pair of very good fighters. Erosa comes into this one with a 26-9 career mark. This is his second stint in the UFC, and it is much better than his last, as he is 3-1 this time around. Peterson is 19-9 and appears to have righted the ship with back-to-back wins after a stretch where the losses were piling up. I have Erosa taking this one by decision.

Bryan Battle (+120) Vs Tresean Gore (-150)

It’s a Middleweight bout up next, and while these fighters are early in their pro careers, they have both seen some success. Battle is currently sitting at 6-1 and has won 5 in a row, including a win in his first fight in the UFC. Gore is making the move up to the UFC after going 3-0, plus winning 2 fights in the Ultimate Fighter, which don’t count towards his record. I am on Gore for the KO win.

Sam Alvey (+310) Vs Brendan Allen (-410)

This is the first fight of the night that has the appearance of perhaps being a little one-sided. Alvey has been around a while and has seen some success, but he is currently on a run where he has failed to win in his last 6 fights. Allen has been a little up and down of late, losing his last bout and going 3-2 in his last 5. Not a great run of form for Allen, but I like him to get the win here.

Shavkat Rakhmonov (-225) Vs Carlston Harris (+185)

Next up is a Welterweight fight and a bout that has the potential to be the best of the night. Rakhmonov comes in with a perfect 14-0 career record, winning both of his previous fights in the UFC in convincing fashion. He will have his hands full here, though, as Harris is 17-4 and the winner of 5 in a row. I think Rakhmonov takes this one, but not without a battle.

Punahele Soriano (-190) Vs Nick Maximov (+155)

The co-main event of the night is another good one in the Middleweight division. Soriano comes into this fight looking to bounce back after taking the first loss of his pro career, falling to 8-1 in the process. He goes against Maximov, a fighter looking to maintain his unbeaten record, which currently sits at 7-0. I like Soriano to get that bounce back win with a KO victory.

Jack Hermansson (+180) Vs Sean Strickland (-220)

The main event of the night is a Middleweight bout that features a pair of fighters sitting in the top 10. Hermansson is 22-6 but moving in the wrong direction after going 2-2 in his last 4 fights. Things might be about to get rougher for him, as Strickland is in great form, winning 5 in a row to go to 24-3. I think this one goes the distance, with Strickland getting the decision.
