UFC Fight Night: Vieira Vs Tate Betting Odds & Picks

UFC Fight Night: Vieira Vs Tate Betting Odds & Picks

Hard as it may seem to believe, there are now just 4 UFC events remaining on the 2021 calendar, the first of which will go this Saturday in Las Vegas. This time around, we are looking at a 3 PM EST start for the 5-fight main card. It will be the ladies who take center stage on Saturday, with the headline event of the night featuring a pair of fighters ranked in the top 10 in the Bantamweight division. That, though, is just one bout on what looks to be a very entertaining card. As we always do, we are going to quickly break down each of the 5 fights on the main card, delivering the latest UFC odds as we go, with predictions for each fight also included.

MMA Betting Preview for UFC Fight Night: Vieira Vs Tate

Adrian Yanez (-315) Vs Davey Grant (+255)

We get the main card rolling with a Bantamweight bout and a fighter looking to get back in the win column after taking a loss. That fighter would be Davey Grant, who saw a 3-fight win streak snapped with a loss last time out. That defeat took his overall record to 11-5. Yanez comes into this one on a streak that is about as hot as it gets, moving to 14-3 after 7 straight wins. I think he gets another one here via KO.

Joanne Wood (+285) Vs Taila Santos (-360)

While this Flyweight bout may appear to feature a new fighter, be aware that Wood was Calderwood before getting married earlier this month. The Scottish fighter comes into this bout in need of a win after losing 3 of her last 5, albeit against very strong opposition. Things do not get any easier here, though, as Santos is now 18-1 after winning 4 of her last 5 bouts. Wood is tough to put away, though, so I am taking Santos by decision.

Rani Yahya (-115) Vs Kyung Ho Kang (-115)

As the odds clearly suggest, fights do not come much more evenly matched than this Bantamweight bout. Yahya is 27-10-1, and while that is a solid pro record, he has struggled a little of late, going 1-1-1 in his last 3 fights. Kang is 17-8, but he has been heading in a positive direction, winning 7 of his last 8 fights and 3 in a row ahead of this one. This should be a fabulous scrap, but I am leaning towards Yahya by submission.

Michael Chiesa (+130) Vs Sean Brady (-160)

This Welterweight bout serves as the co-main event of the night, and it looks like another fantastic matchup. Brady may be feeling a little pressure heading into this one, as he is coming off a loss last time out, snapping a 4-fight win streak in the process. There have been no such issues for Brady, whose record remains perfect at 14-0. If Brady wants to keep that streak alive, he is going to need to work hard. I think he does it with a decision win.

Ketlen Vieira (-115) Vs Meisha Tate (-115)

The headline event of the night is a women’s Bantamweight bout that looks like a tough one to call. Both fighters could use a win in this one. Vieira is 11-2 overall, but the downside is that she has seen both of her losses come in the last 3 fights. Tate snapped out of a 2-fight losing skid with a win last time out, taking her pro mark to 19-7 in the process. This is one that looks set to go all the way, with Tate coming away with the decision.
