UFC 263: Adesanya Vs Vettori 2 Betting Odds & Picks

Almost every weekend of the year, there is something to look forward to out of the UFC. As is the case with any sports organization, though, some events are bigger than others. This weekend is a big one in the world of MMA, as UFC 263 will feature a pair of title fights, making it must watch TV. There are in fact 5 fights on the main card, all of which are of extremely high quality. We have a ton of ground to cover here, so let’s preview the fights, their UFC odds and make some predictions as we go.

UFC 263: Adesanya Vs Vettori 2 Odds & Analysis | MMA Betting Preview

Paul Craig (+245) Vs Jamahal Hill (-305)

We get the ball rolling with a Light Heavyweight bout that will see an up-and-coming fighter take on one that has some real experience under his belt. Paul Craig comes into this one with a 14-4-1 record and a reputation for being a fighter that is tough to put away. Jamahal Hill is very much on the ascendancy in the division after winning each of his first 8 fights, with KO wins mixed throughout those victories. Craig is going to be tough to put away, but I think Hill keeps his unbeaten streak alive.

Demian Maia (-195) Vs Bela Muhammad (+235)

There comes a time when every fighter needs to call it a day, but at 43 years of age, Demian Maia is still picking up wins in the Welterweight division. He is coming into this one on the heels of a loss, but that defeat snapped a 3-fight win streak, so he still has something left in the tank. Muhammad had won 4 in a row, moving him to 18-3, before a No Contest his last time out. A good challenge for Muhammad, but one that I think he wins.

Leon Edwards (-560) Vs Nate Diaz (+385)

It’s the Welterweights who will hit the octagon next for a matchup that does appear to be a little one-sided. It was Edwards who was involved in the No Contest with Muhammad in his last fight, but he was on a 7-fight win streak prior to that one. Diaz is 20-12 and one of the more popular fighters in the UFC, but he has now also lost 2 of his last 3 fights. I think he is looking at another loss in this one, as I like Edwards to get the job done.

Deiveson Figueroa (-220) Vs Brandon Moreno (+180)

The first title fight of the night will feature the champion, Deiveson Figueroa looking for the 3rd defense of his belt against Brandon Moreno. Technically, you might actually call this the second defense given that he and Moreno fought to a draw back in December. I definitely think that we will have a winner this time around, though, and I like the champion to retain his title.

Israel Adesanya (-270) Vs Marvin Vettori (+210)

The headline event of the night is the Middleweight Title fight, with Adesanya looking to hold on to his belt. Adesanya is actually coming off a loss, losing the Light Heavyweight title last time out, but this will be his 3rd defense at this weight class. Vettori is getting a deserved shot at the champion after losing to him via split decision last time they met. I don’t think this one will be as close. I have Adesanya keeping his belt in this one.
