As generally happens with the big events in the UFC, we have a loaded main card coming on Saturday night. Sure, there are only 5 fights set to go on that main card, but they all look very good indeed. Of course, it is the title fight at the top of the card that is getting all the headlines, but we are going to cover all the bases with each of the 5 main card bouts. As we do with every UFC event, let’s take a closer look at the big fights for UFC 265: Lewis Vs Gane, with the UFC odds and predictions included for each.
UFC 265: Lewis Vs Gane Odds & Analysis | MMA Betting Preview
Yadong Song (-110) Vs Casey Kenney (-120)
The opening fight on the main card is an absolutely fantastic looking Bantamweight bout, with both of these fighters looking to bounce back after a loss. Song fell to 16-5-1 after losing to Kyler Phillips by unanimous decision at UFC 259. Kenney is coming into this one on the heels of a disappointing split decision loss that dropped him to 16-3-1 overall. I think we see this fight go the distance, with Kenney coming away with the win.
Tecia Torres (-140) Vs Angela Hill (+110)
The ladies will step into the octagon next, with both of these fighters trying to get some momentum going after a rough patch of form. After falling to 4 straight losses, albeit against solid opposition, Torres appears to have righted the ship with back-to-back wins. Hill has experienced something quite similar, winning her last bout after taking consecutive losses. Another one that goes the distance, I think, with Torres winning her 3rd straight.
Vicente Luque (-115) Vs Michael Chiesa (-115)
You only need to look at the odds for all these fights to see how evenly matched they are. This Welterweight bout will pit together a pair of men who are rounding into a good run of form. Luque, who is 20-7-1 overall, comes into this fight having won 3 in a row, Chiesa has gone 1 better, winning each of his last 4 fights to take his career mark to 17-4-0. I am leaning towards Luque here with the KO win in what could be a bit of a thriller.
Jose Aldo (-120) Vs Pedro Munhoz (-110)
The co-main event of the night is a fantastic Bantamweight bout between a pair of fighters sitting in the top 10 in the division. After losing 3 in a row, Aldo needed a win last time out, which he got in a unanimous decision over Marlon Vera. It was a bit of a similar story for Munhoz, as he was able to snap a 2-fight losing skid in his last fight. This is going to be a hard-fought affair between a pair of veteran fighters, and I have Aldo getting the decision.
Derrick Lewis (+285) Vs Ciryl Gane (-360)
Make no mistake about it, Francis Ngannou is still the undisputed champ, but this interim Heavyweight title fight will likely decide who he faces next. Lewis is 25-7 overall in his career and is coming into this one on the heels of 4 straight wins. As impressive as all of that is, you still need to be seriously impressed by the perfect 9-0 record that Gane will bring to the octagon on Saturday night. I think Gane makes it 10 in a row with the win.
