UFC 281 Lines for the Main Card Fights and A Prelims Preview

UFC 281 Lines for the Main Card Fights and A Prelims Preview

We are doing a little bit of a look ahead here to UFC 281, which is set to begin on November 12. We have 2 title fights set to go in this event, which are part of a 5-fight main card. The prelims feature some fighters who are very much household names, so this is definitely an event to tune into. Since there is still some time to go before we get to this event, keep in mind that some of these matchups may change. There are also very few UFC Odds available for the fight right now, but we will post what we have to this point, so let’s get to it.

Early UFC 281 Betting Rundown on the Fights: Main fight and Prelims

Prelims

Frankie Edgar Vs Chris Gutierrez – Bantamweight bout featuring one of the more popular fighters in the UFC. A little odd to be seeing Edgar in the prelims.

Julio Arce Vs Montel Jackson – Bantamweight bout that has a couple of experienced fighters stepping into the octagon for what should be a good one.

Andre Petroski Vs Wellington Turman – Middleweight bout. Petroski has just one loss as a pro, so he will be looking to keep it rolling in what will be a tough battle.

Carlos Uberg Vs Nicolae Negumareanu – Light Heavyweight bout between a pair of fighters who are a combined 19-2 overall.

Ottman Azaltar Vs Matt Frevola – Lightweight bout where we have Azaltar trying to improve on a perfect 13-0 record.

Karolina Kowalkiewicz Vs Silvana Gomez Juarez – Strawweight bout between a pair of very accomplished female fighters.

Mike Trizano Vs Seung Woo Choi – Featherweight bout between a pair of fighters on losing skids in need of a win.

Erin Blanchfield Vs Molly McCann – Flyweight bout that was originally on the main card but is now part of the prelims.

Dominick Reyes Vs Ryan Spann – Light Heavyweight bout and another one moving put of the main card and into the prelims.

Main Card

Dan Hooker Vs Claudio Puelles – Lightweight bout that has been moved up to the main card in place of the Blanchfield/McCann fight, which drops down.

Renato Moicano Vs Brad Riddell – Lightweight bout that has, probably deservedly, been move up to the main card.

Dustin Poirier (-172) Vs Michael Chandler (+135) – Lightweight bout and the first one that we have odds for. The bookies see this one as being close, but it is Poirier who is in as a moderate favorite.

Carla Esparza (+263) Vs Weili Zhang (-357) – Strawweight Title Fight. The first of two title fights on the night, with Esparza in as a underdog despite starting this one as the champion.

Israel Adesanya (-175) Vs Alex Pereira (+136) – Middleweight Title Fight. We close the night out with another huge title fight, with Adesanya looking to maintain his dominance in this weight class.

As you can see, what we have here is basically little more than a sneak peek. We will be back closer to the event with full previews and predictions for all the big fights, so be sure to keep and eye open for that.
